EPISODE 277 - Chuck and Stacey proudly welcome Heather Dame (formerly Heather Vergo) VP Director of Development of bi-coastal voice over agency Atlas Talent. Heather explains what a voice actor needs to bring to the table in today’s industry, from understanding your skill set to knowing the opportunities that are available where you live. She stresses the importance of learning how to network effectively and gives her opinion about how a voice actor should use social media to their benefit. Heather explains some of the reasons why voice actors don’t get signed with Atlas and shares how agency owners, Jonn Wasser and Lisa Marber-Rich and the entire team of agents work hard for their talent, coast to coast. She talks about some of the do’s and don’t’s for submitting to Atlas Talent for representation and answers what a talent should do if they don’t get a response or get “passed on” for representation by Atlas.
