Around six months after our son Todd's death, our younger son Brandon (then almost three) began stuttering. Brandon and I went for a walk each night, and about this time we saw a dead, decaying bird lying on the side of the road.
Brandon referred to the bird as being "dead, just like Todd." He spoke of Todd often, and many people suggested that he needed professional help to deal with Todd's death.
As I prayed about Brandon's problem, it seemed that the Lord was telling me to bury the bird. But I argued against this. I did not even want to touch this one!
Finally, I gave in. We scooped up the bird in a bucket and brought it home. I told Brandon to shake the bird and call it; I did the same. I then told him that only Jesus could wake the little bird.
I quoted the Bible and told him that one day Jesus would come back and call with a loud voice, and all who loved Him would come alive again. I said we would see Todd the minute Jesus woke him.
The next morning when Brandon woke up, he did not stutter, and he has not stuttered since that date. A miracle? Yes, I believe it was, and even though the idea to bury the bird seemed ridicules to me it had been the answer to my prayers.

What It Means To Have Insomnia, Because It Isn’t Just ‘Staying Up Late Sometimes’
Insomnia is excruciatingly tiring to deal with. It incapacitates you by making you unable to deal with changes — it took me 2 days to shift my schedule around so that I could have enough time last night to prepare for deep sleep.
But all it took was a text message to send my mental state into anxiety, worry, depression, all at once. I laid in bed wide awake for 5 hours and towards the end, thought about how productive I could have been, if I hadn’t spent all this time lying on the bed.
When you don’t get enough sleep, you are never fully present in the moment. Tiredness looms over your whole presence. Productiveness decreases. You turn up late, or you miss meetings in the morning because that’s the time when you start to fall asleep.
You feel hopeless, worthless, and cancel on anything that makes you anxious。
The emotional detriments of insomnia is an endless cycle of guilt, tiredness and hopelessness.
Wanting to sleep is seen as lazy. Not sleeping earlier is seen as a mismanagement of time.
They give advice on scented candles, and classical music, not knowing that you’ve tried even alcohol in desperation.
You thank them for their good will, while they walk away wondering why you’re too stubborn to take their advice. They shake their heads at you.
But insomnia is not just insomnia. Insomnia is often a symptom of something larger that should be solved. Insomnia is a symptom that aggravates the already aggravated situation.

"A Day Without a Woman" unfolded across the USA on Wednesday with strikes and rallies as organizers called on women to skip work and not spend money to demonstrate their economic strength and political clout.
Women in more than 50 countries hosted similar events to coincide with the U.N.-designated International Women's Day,according to the Facebook.
Since the photos were revealed, several articles were published objectifying Watson. The Sun published an article with the headline “Beauty and the breasts”.
Watson addressed the criticism in an interview with Reuters, saying that feminism is about freedom, and that the negative comments left her confused.
“Feminism is about giving women choice, feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with, it’s about freedom, it’s about liberation, it’s about equality,” she said.
Watson added: “I really don’t know what my tits have to do with it."
Talking about the picture in question, Watson said: “The shot itself I was honestly slightly taken aback by, because we’d been doing so many crazy things on that shoot.
But it felt incredibly artistic and I’ve been so creatively involved and engaged with [Vanity Fair photographer Tim Walker], and I’m so thrilled about how interesting and beautiful the photographs were.”
