Welcome to today's YouTube for Realtors WALK AND TALK #27- I have so many things going through my head every day about YouTube for Realtors that I just want to get it all out! I get asked so many questions every day and coach so many agents it's time to answer all of those in depth, on my walk to the gym!

In today’s episode I do a deep dive into  Can I Just takes Pictures and Videos and Talk Over Them. I am going to answer an email from one of my good listener Michelle. A big shoutout to you homies! Her question was "What are your thoughts on just doing pictures from the town and then making a video with those versus vlogging?" It was a good question and it's something that, a lot of people bring up. And I will break it down into a couple different parts. Vlogging is terrifying. This is one of the hardest thing for agents to do not only to turn on the camera, but to go out and start vlogging while people are looking at you. First thing I have to say, is just to be honest, if you're thinking about doing the pictures, instead of vlogging, it sounds as if vlogging is already in your head, like it's too much work, it's a lot of clips, I just don't feel comfortable doing it, then I typically tell people, if you're not going to be able to be comfortable on camera and get videos out, then don't do it. There are incredible ways that you can get a ton of videos out and never have to go out vlogging. In fact, one of the best things you can do map videos, do as many map videos as you possibly can. Just every area, going in depth, all the different sections, all the different roads, telling stories, who lives there who doesn't. That's another way that you can basically get around the vlog and the whole entire video is B roll because you're moving the map.  So to truly answer your question, What about just getting a bunch of pictures and voicing over it? So yes, you could go get the pictures or the video. So doing the pictures, is okay. This is something that gets brought up a lot. What if I just do pictures or some video and I narrate kind of talk over the top of it. I'll just be brutally honest. I think it's a really bad idea. But it's kind of the lazy way of doing it. Like we're so fearful of doing these videos. Well, the second middle part of that is the biggest problem, nobody's going to see you. I had no idea when we started shooting these videos, and vlogging especially using the GoPro and slamming that camera in our face.
