This episode of WARD RADIO, Cardon, Dr. Chris, Gwyneth and Sage dives deep into the unique intersection of Mormon folklore and the legend of Bigfoot, specifically the persistent and peculiar belief that Bigfoot is actually Cain from the Bible. The conversation is lively, humorous, and rooted in a genuine curiosity about how such beliefs persist and evolve within Latter-day Saint culture.

In this episode of Ward Radio, Cardon, Brittany, and Austin tackle the viral idea of "high demand religion," a term prevalent in online discourse, especially among former members of organized faiths like Mormonism. The hosts explore why critics heavily use the phrase and question its substance and implications, particularly in the context of religious growth, personal fulfillment, and societal health.

In this episode, Cardon and Roy, Kett of The Iron Rodcast dive into raw and personal recollections from their missionary experiences, focusing especially on the harsh misunderstandings and accusations encountered abroad due to historical and cultural events.

In this bold and controversial Ward Radio episode, Devin Barnes from Latter-day Logic presents a scripturally-grounded “heretical” take on the Three Degrees of Glory that challenges long-held LDS assumptions.Devin argues:There are no sub-levels inside the Celestial Kingdom — it is one single gloryD&C 131 has been widely misunderstood (and may contain scribal notes, not direct revelation)To enter the Celestial Kingdom at all, you must be sealed in the new and everlasting covenant of marriageEveryone in the Celestial Kingdom receives a fullness and is made equal — singles cannot be thereSection 76 supports this view perfectlyJoined by Cardon Ellis, Braeden Moffat, and Dalton Williams for pushback and discussion. Cardon Ellis and Luke Hansen dive deep into three powerful doctrines from the earliest Christian church that Joseph Smith restored—doctrines largely abandoned or reinterpreted by mainstream Christianity today.Using scriptures, early Church Fathers' writings, and the book Restoring the Ancient Church by Barry Robert Bickmore, they explore:The future coming of Elias (Elijah) as a forerunner before the Second ComingThe literal 1,000-year millennial reign of Christ on earthCreation ex materia (out of existing matter) vs. the later doctrine of creation ex nihilo (out of nothing)This episode shows how Joseph Smith aligned with ancient Christianity on these key points, often against later theological developments like Neoplatonism and the Trinity. Packed with scripture breakdowns, historical quotes, and thoughtful discussion—perfect for Latter-day Saints, students of church history, and anyone interested in the Restoration.#LatterDaySaints #JosephSmith #EarlyChristianity #Restoration #BookOfMormon #Millennium #Elias #CreationExMateria #WardRadio #LDS00:00 Intro & Setup: Three Early Doctrines Restored by Joseph Smith

In this episode of Ward Radio, host Cardon Ellis is joined by Maddy Packer, Travis Lish, and Christian Williams to tackle the controversial claim that feminism has not delivered on its promises and, in many ways, has made things worse for women and society.

In this episode, Cardon Ellis and Cade Alvey dive deep into Latter-day Saint (LDS) attitudes toward the Nicene Creed, challenging the common assertion within LDS culture that the creed is an "abomination." Their conversation is both thoughtful and personal, focusing on fostering understanding and respect between Latter-day Saints and creedal Christians.

Did Latter-day Saints get the Protestant Reformation wrong? In this eye-opening episode of Ward Radio, Luke Hansen from Doctrine & Governance joins Cardon Ellis to challenge common LDS narratives about Martin Luther and the Reformers.Using a detailed doctrinal comparison chart, they explore surprising alignments between LDS theology and Catholicism — and major disagreements with Evangelical Protestantism — on topics like the Godhead, priesthood authority, one true church, faith & works, and more.Is the Reformation a "massive leap for mankind" or a continuation of the Great Apostasy? Should we celebrate Reformation Day? This is must-watch for anyone interested in church history, apologetics, and deeper gospel understanding.Featuring humor, charts, and thought-provoking discussion as always.#WardRadio #LatterDaySaints #Reformation #MartinLuther #LDS #Catholic #Protestant #GreatApostasy #BookOfMormon #Christianity #ChurchHistoryVideo Chapters: 👇0:00 - Intro: Were Early Latter-day Saints Taught the Reformation Wrong?1:10 - Preach My Gospel & Common Misunderstandings3:45 - Martin Luther: Hero or Continuation of Apostasy?6:30 - Doctrinal Comparison Chart Breakdown (Godhead, Canon, etc.)9:20 - One True Church & Priesthood Authority12:45 - Faith vs Works & Other Key Differences16:10 - Why LDS & Catholics Have More in Common Than You Think20:00+ - Audience Q&A, Sponsor Spotlight & Final ThoughtsJoin this channel to get access to perks:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnmsAFGrFuGe0obW6tkEY6w/joinAmazon Wish List: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1AQLMTSMBM4DC?ref_=wl_shareVisit us for this and more at: WardRadio.comTo subscribe to "The Women of Ward Radio" Youtube Channel, please visit: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbu-wpRztV-8TYXClhUZhhwTo Subscribe to Cardon Ellis' Adventure Channel, please visit: http://www.youtube.com/@CardonEllisAdventuresThe following authors and/or sponsors are generously offering discounts on their gospel-related publication to Ward Radio listeners.⚡For free trial of Scripture Notes please visit the following link!: https://scripturenotes.com/?via=wardradio⚡For a discount on Tiny 3D Temples, Save 15% with code WARDRADIO at checkout or visit tiny3dtemples.com/wardradio⚡Family: A Rhyming Proclamation for Kids book visit the following linkhttps://plainandpreciouspublishing.com/products/family-a-rhyming-proclamation-for-kids .
