In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about Matt Dumba's hit on Evgeny Kuznetsov. RMNB - "Dumba caught Kuznetsov in the left shoulder with the hit and then followed through into his head, sending the Russian centerman careening toward the ice." The question now is what the hit dirty and does Dumba deserve supplemental discipline? Later Dan talks about the injury to Darcy Kuemper. Darcy played the entire game against the St Louis blues so it's hard to say if it happened during the game and he played through it, or was he injured after the game somehow? When can we expect Darcy to return. Later in the show Dan talks about two players in Hershey that could help the Washington Capitals right now. Nova Caps - "Connor McMichael scored his 14th goal of the season early in the first period and Ethen Frank added his 27th goal of the season and second goal in as many nights. Frank now has the most goals by a Bears rookie since Craig Fisher (43) during the 1990-91 season. Frank’s goal was also the game-winner." It's my belief that once that Caps are mathematically eliminated they should give them their opportunity, if not before.
