MacLellan made significant changes to the team's roster by trading for 26-year-old Pierre-Luc Dubois, acquiring Andrew Mangiapane and Logan Thompson, and making a big move to revamp the team's defense by acquiring defenseman Jakob Chychrun and signing defenseman Matt Roy to a six-year contract.
