Emcee was not feeling well, so the Willden-Beast joins Cupcake to review Blumhouse's Imaginary, directed by Jeff Wadlow. And while you'll have to imagine that Emcee is right alongside them, WB and Cupcake briefly discuss Wadlow's resume (he's an Eastie, hailing from Arlington, Virginia) and then critique his latest about an imaginary friend inhabiting a cute teddy bear who wrecks havoc on a family. Is it the next "Child's Play" or the next meme-sensation that "M3gan" was OR does Blumhouse and Wadlow (this is his THIRD Blumhouse film) need to address the recent spate of disappointing offerings (we are looking right at YOU, "Exorcist: Believer" and "Night Swim"). Before that Willden-Beast plus's Oscar related projects while Cupcake gives a review of a new streaming film starring one John Cena (trust me, it's better than "Freelance").

LONG LIVE THE PODCASTERS!!!!!!

Break out your stillsuits and take a shot of the Water of Life as the Watch/Skip'ers fold the interwebs to bring you their visions and thoughts on the much anticipated, prophesied to save exhibition, tentpole blockbuster that is Denis Villenueve's Dune Part 2. While talk of who's sexy in the sand is minimal, the boys deep dive on the source material and then let rip with sandworm sized critique. Is all the angst, drama, knife-licking, and oil bathing worth the hype or will this give you that "sand in the shorts and crack", post-beach feeling? Before that, Emcee discusses his shorts (in a way) while Cupcake pluses his new finger-licking hobby.

EPISODE SIXTY-NINE!!!!!

The irony that the Boys for Episode 69 (!) are reviewing Ethan Coen's new frenetic farce comedy "Drive-away Dolls" which is overflowing with "lesbian s%^t" is not lost. Gorgeous Margret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanathan take to the road in a Coen-esque Thelma and Louise road movie-crime thriller hybrid. Should you drive TO the theatre to see it or "drive-away"? <----see what I did there? (EDITOR'S NOTE: what you thought because Red was on hiatus the puns stopped?). Before the queer fun begins, Cupcake gives us another episode of "Kickstarter" experiments, while Alex's plus will have your mouth watering. Then....stick around for "Q and Alex" as the new co-host asks Cupcake personal questions in an effort to get to know each other!

NEW EPISODE IS ALIVE.....IT'S ALIIIIIIIVVVEEEEEE!

After Emcee's inaugural ep as co-host, the Watch/Skip'ers take on another buzz-y film...yet another mish mash of genres: the horror-comedy "Lisa Frankenstein", directed by Zelda Williams (daughter of the one and only Robin Williams) and written by polarizing screenwriter Diablo Cody ("Jennifer's Body" anyone?). Is this a smash sleeper hit waiting to inhabit the afterlife of your cult media shelf OR is it dead on arrival and in need of a jolt and CPR? But first, put your journals down as Alex plus's a gift idea that is story-worthy, and Cupcake extols the virtues of a new stress-reliever toy. <----keep it PG folks! Mind out of the gutter.

NEW YEAR...NEW EPISODE...NEW CO-HOST!

CALL IT A COMEBACK! Watch/Skip+ returns with a brand new episode. If you heard the prior, you know that Red is on a leave of absence from the pod, and out of the river of tears, Cupcake and a brand new co-host are back in the saddle! Ride along and get to know the new guy; then stick around as the two break the (reviewing) ice with "Kingsman"/"Kick-Ass" creator Matthew Vaughn's newest - the Apple+ film "Argylle". Is this the blockbuster that will herald the return of exhibition or is it just more of the same "twisted" albeit strained spectacle from the man who married Claudia Schiffer?
