In what has been teased and building since Episode 2 of this podcast, the Boys and superhero / comic book movie perennial guest Masaki (AKA Landon AKA Son of Sam U. Rai of the Gentleman's Guide to Midnite Cinema fame) review the long awaited, much reviled, divisive and polarizing sequel/crossover/shared with everything Disney/Marvel you can think of, MCU #33 - THE MARVELS!!!! It's a clash of titans - that being Masaki who loathes Captain Marvel and Cupcake the official Carol Danvers MCU stan - as they debate the merits of the film, the state of the MCU, and if we really want more or less from the Marvel shared-onslaught. As Pluses, Masaki talks first time experience, Red gets personal, and Cupcake takes a breather.

The Boys dip their toes into the youth horror pool this episode, as they cover the much-anticipated film adaption of the animatronic video game terror sensation that is “Five Nights at Freddy’s.” They didn’t dare brave this venture alone, bringing along good friend Kevin from Raiders of the Podcast to discuss the peculiar day-and-date release of an adaptation that all three parties admit they’re not the demographic for. Did this win them over a la “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” did for Jose? Rai of the Gentleman's Guide to Midnite Cinema - for a suitably EPIC discussion of legendary and pioneering filmmaker Martin Scorsese's EPIC new film "Killers of the Flower Moon". In an episode that is nearly the run time of the movie itself (but still shorter than our Oscars ep...hehe), these Scorsese fans discuss all things Marty, the tragedy inflicted on Indigenous people, the nature of greed and corruption, the "devil you know", and the evil you don't see. There's also a ton of talk about great character actors and their performances here. But before that, Sammy talks a Lynchian documentary, Red discusses yet another seasonal treat, and Cupcake runs a marathon.

Get battle-ready for a doozy of an episode as the Watch/Skip'ers welcome back E.f. Contentment and his singular wit and wry humor to take on Expend4bles, the fourth in the Stallone-Statham-Lundgren-Couture fronted franchise. Clearly the film - which welcomes Megan Fox and others to the cast- had an unintended effect as the trio dole out bad imitations, express anger over cutesy franchise film titles, and have their passions run amok staining the proceedings like bad CGI blood. But is this summer "bullets, buddies, and babes" film a Watch or a Skip? Grab your rosaries and say your "Hail, Mary"s, as the Watch/Skip'ers review the latest spin off from the Conjuring Horror Universe - The Nun 2. Considering that the Boys didn't care much for the first film, it may be a revelation to hear which host gives almighty praise to the movie, one which could spawn a habit forming sequel trilogy or at a minimum, see the titular horror icon resurrected in a future Conjuring film. Before that, Red mourns the passing of a screen legend (this is a riddle, folks) while also slipping in mentions of two upcoming films. Then Cupcake gives a shout-out to two super-fans before a little bit of "story time".
