THE visionary zombie franchise 28 Years Later ROARS BACK with the BONE TEMPLE sequel. DOES IT HAVE BITE OR IS IT ALL BARK?

The Boyz are joined by special guest Rob Spencer from “Caliber 9 from Outer Space” to discuss the highly anticipated 2026 zombie sequel “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple” directed by Nia DaCosta. This spoiler-free review (no need to skip chapters or exit out before the end) explores the second of the proposed trilogy in the “28 Days…” franchise, featuring powerhouse performances from Ralph Fiennes and Jack O'Connell in a brutal, visceral horror film that balances intense gore with compelling human drama. Does this sequel, written by Alex Garland who wrote “28 Days Later” and “28 Years Later”, elevate the infected zombie genre with thought-provoking themes about society, survival, and humanity or is it just a cash grab sequel that plays more like an apocalyptic soap opera? Watch Skip Plus will let you know if this is a MUST SEE theatrical experience.

THE LAST WATCH SKIP PLUS EPISODE OF SEASON THREE AND OF 2025! DON’T LOOK UNDER THE BED…..THE DUST BUNNY MIGHT EAT YOU!!!!

Dave from Raiders of the Podcast joins WillDaBeast and Cupcake for the last episode of 2025 (and Season Three) to review Dust Bunny, the feature directing debut of Bryan Fuller, the creative wunderkind behind Heroes, Pushing Daisies, and Hannibal. Starring Hannibal himself, Mads Mikkelson, Sophie Sloan, David Dastmalchian, and one Sigourney Weaver, this hybrid fairy-tale-actioner plays like “Amelie” meets “Luc Besson’s The Professional” meets "John Wick". Is Fuller’s creative brilliance (one that has seen him leaving many a high profile project) perfect for this kind of film, or like his imagination, is there just too much going on to be fully successful?

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S IS BACK WITH A SEQUEL…BUT IS IT A SNOOZER OR A SMASHER? ALSO…WHO ASKED FOR THIS?!!?!?

Mike joins a very glossy lipped Cupcake to review Cupcake’s future husband - Josh Hutcherson’s - new movie - Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the sequel to the 2023 original, based on the games and stories written by Christian-conservative Trump Supporter Scott Cawthon. With director Emma Tammi and fellow castmembers Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio and Matthew Lillard returning along with some new actors (Skeet Ulrich, McKenna Grace, and Teo Briones), the sequel has buzz and anticipation. But ultimately is this second chapter worthy of the hype (and a possible bridge to a threequel?) or will it make anyone unfamiliar with the source material go running screaming in the other direction?

A24’s ETERNITY: CHOOSING BETWEEN MILES TELLER OR CALLUM TURNER SEEMS LIKE A HARD DILEMMA BUT DOES THIS HIGH CONCEPT ROM-COM DELIVER? #alliteration

A24 is known for its intense dramas and horror films. The Watch/Skip’ers take on A24’s latest: Eternity, a rare COMEDY about a love triangle…..in the afterlife. The high-concept rom-com comes straight from Irish indie filmmaker David Freyne and has a cast including super hotties Elisabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, Callum Turner, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. While the concept feels like a riff on “Defending Your Life” meets "Beetlejuice" with a healthy dose of Prime’s “Upload”, is this overly cute and charming fantasy a winner replete with deep messages about love and choices and the road not taken or does it deserve to be sent to its own eternity of failed romance flicks not worthy of a first date?

WICKED returns with the roar of a tornado…BUT IS IT “FOR GOOD”?

Surprisingly, WillDaBeast loves musicals as much as Cupcake does and so it goes…Part 2 of the Broadway musical Wicked is back! Filmed all at the same time but split into two parts and separated by one year, the Jon M. Chu directed Act Two, still starring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, and Jonathon Bailey, rolls out a yellow brick road back to the continuing story of Glinda and Elphaba. But gone are the sunny, sing-songy, Mean Girls shenanigans replaced by a darker and more urgent tone with a spotlight on the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum) and the enchantingly evil Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh). Will audiences take to this and click their heels in joy or will they wish a house was dropped on the at-times juvenile and rushed second act? Will anyone care how this story threads its connections to the beloved “Wizard of Oz”?

Second verse….just like the first! BAM! … Another Double Movie Review!

The Boyz loved the last double feature movie review so they decided to do it ALL OVER AGAIN! First up, kinetic visualist @edgarwright brings us the second adaption of “The Running Man”. Written by Stephen King (under a pseudonym of Richard Bachman) and famously adapted in 1987 to the screen starring one Arnold Schwarzenegger, Cupcake and WillDaBeast answer the question on everyone’s mind: Not “Is Glen Powell STILL a thing?” but “Is this true-to-story adaptation better than AH’nuld’s”?

Next: The director of the smashing successful Neon releases “LongLegs” and “The Monkey” returns with the folk horror chamberpiece (Editor’s note: Can we ban this term from the show? Dislike!). Standout actors Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland act in a slow-burn horror Grimm Fairy Tale-esque thriller. But are all the “WTF”s and mystery imagery shenanigans worth the punchline? Maaayyyybe….Oz and Neon need a time out.

WS+....It’s us with a double feature. GET INTO IT!

PREPARE YOURSELVES: the first ever double review episode is upon YOU!!!!

In what can only be described as a historic “creature double feature”, the verbose Watch/Skip Plus guys take on TWO movies in one episode - stripped down, no pluses, quick intro’s, full on movie review glory! First up, yet another reinvention for the Predator franchise, Predator Badlands crash lands in theatres. Dan Trachtenberg (director of the last two Predator films - Prey and the animated Hulu exclusive Predators:Killer of Killers) gambles that audiences will take to a Predator film from the vantage point of the Predator itself. Did this perspective shift/PG-13 CGI fest work or should it be trophy killed as prey?

Next up, Pod-Father Sam U. Rai from the Gentleman’s Guide to Midnite Cinema sneaks in and the three take on the much anticipated Frankenstein, a little streamer exclusive on Netflix from wonderkind, monster-lover Guillermo Del Toro. After all the adaptations of Mary Shelley’s thought-provoking novel,  did Del Toro build us a better masterpiece or are his creative excesses (brilliant and visually appealing as they are) taking the sheen off his usual visionary style?

PS: Listen on to find out the weird James Cameron connection and the similar themes in both films!

GET THIS DOUBLE INSIDE YOU………NOW!
