The hook for one of my top performing ads right now is essentially just three words:

Stop making content.

You can never be sure with ads… but my hunch is that one of the reasons it's doing so well isn't just the catchy hook…

… but because it taps into something a lot of folks are feeling – stuck on a social media treadmill that seems to be getting faster and faster.

Posting huge amounts of content might boost your algorithm scorecard of likes, followers and comments…

But that isn't the scorecard for building a business.

Platforms don't care whether you succeed or not – their goal is to keep people scrolling.

That's why their metrics reward volume and frequency, not quality.

They've got entrepreneurs chasing bigger audiences, rather than deeper connections with the right audience.
