What's up y'all! Here's a supplement update that I shared with our community, and so I wanted to share this information with you.
#1 - Support digestion. Strong digestion means you assimilate your nutrients better, AND it protects you because you can "digest" pathogens before they get to you. We have a great video on digestion here. You'll feel better, with less bloating, more consistent bowel movements, and you'll get sick less often. #2 - Mimic eating animals nose-to-tail. Eating animals nose-to-tail is the best way to become nutrient-sufficient. This is going to make you feel amazing, heal better as an athlete, and repair damage to organs we've sustained over a lifetime.Listen in for much more information on this important topic!

We hear it all the time - YOU NEED TO HAVE A VISION! But why and how?
Why is it beneficial to work on your values and vision?
One of our community members asked me to share some examples and to share mine, so I used our most recent worksheets and started from scratch. It was an interesting process. This is my PERSONAL Values & Vision after I reworked it using the worksheet shared on our site. This information is from the heart! Tune in for an awesome conversation on vision and values.

Going on a long backpacking trip? Thinking about summiting a mountain? Or maybe just thinking of going out on a hike all day?
Listen in on this quick conversation on a question we had in our online community asking: What do I need to do or what do I need to eat the night before a big hike?
Our recommendation is SUPER simple! Continue in with our Real Food way of eating. The night before the intense activity, we suggest eating nutrient dense foods and a good balance of starches and greens. Essentially, don't change up your normal routine! That's not what your body is expecting.
We DO suggest snacks for when your body feels hunger when you are being active all day long.
Tune in for more on our recommendations ;)

We all know exercise and fitness are good... but what does working out actually do? What do we want it to do?
The greatest benefits of exercise are the building of capacities, functions, and capabilities, the building of lean muscle mass, and the optimization of adaptive hormones, not to the burning of calories.
In this episode, we discuss debunking exercise for fat loss and what is an ideal time/energy level/type of workout while also stressing the importance of recovery!

Research suggests that roughly 80%of people who shed a significant portion of their body fat will not maintain that degree of weight loss for 12 months. We've all been there. So why do most "diets" fail? Because they aren't sustainable. And why are they not sustainable? When polled, the reason most dieters bail from a nutrition program is HUNGER - people are trying to use willpower to eat less and exercise more.
So why do we experience hunger?
The solution is almost obvious - eat for nutrients, and eat in a way that creates sustainable energy.
