  • Episode 16 - Army of One (2016)
It's a April Fools Miracle! A whole day early? What madness is this?!?Don't look this particular gift horse in the mouth. Just take it like...look, I don't understand this metaphor in the first place. I can't make it sound any better. Hey, the boys recorded themselves an episode this week, fresh off of watching Nic Cage's 2016 film "Army of One." This film involves a very patriotic, spirited, WTF-is-that-voice-no-why-what-why-that-voice-no-seriously-why-come-on-no-wait-why-the-whole-movie-really?-oh-boy-why-Nic-why-Voice-Worked performance. Will the boys heed the advice of their most loyal fans and cut the nonsense with the games, or will they keep messing around and waste another hour before talking about the film this week? You'll have to listen to find out! (April Fools! You'll just have to keep reading. They don't. There's no games this week.) In lieu of gameplay, the boys discuss some valuable life lessons learned much too late in life, they check in with a much-too-long-awaited Weather Report, and they celebrate their 11th most-favoritest holiday together, Easter. Hoppy Easter & April Fools!

  • Episode 15 - Rage (2014)
If you had one shot, or one opportunity, to seize everything you every wanted. Would you capture it? Or just let it slip?Everything that the boys have been working toward has led up to this moment. This episode. This is the make or break one, boys and girls. You're either going to love or hate it. We want to remind you that you have a choice. (And you also have a skip 15-seconds button). This week, our rambunctious boys watched Nic Cage's 2014 film "Rage" - which is virtually indistinguishable from about half of his movies that he made between 2012-2017 in terms of plot - what with the kidnapping and the revenge and the, well, rage. But before they get there, they sit down and play a few games. That's right: a few games. But why spoil all the fun in this description that I'm assuming nobody reads anyway? Why not go on and listen for yourselves? And with that said, bon apetit...IF you like what you hear (and even if you don't, and just want to tell us we suck), here's where you can find us:We're on Twitter at @WeGaugeCagePod.We're also on Instagram: @WeGaugeCagePod.We're now on YouTube at We Gauge Cage Pod.And if you're on your iPhone and have the newer Podcasts app, make sure to rate and review us. • Episode 14 - The Runner (2015)
You can run a campaign. You can run through the streets. But you can't run your friend's nose! That's how the old saying goes. Brock and Brian watched the 2015 Nic Cage (hopefully) forgotten (not) classic political (not) thriller/drama "The Runner." Did you know that Brian was a runner? You do now. Do with that information what you will. Brock and Brian waste the majority of this episode reorganizing their official "Bottom Ten" Nic Cage films, Brock opens up about a tragic health scare, rivaled only by Brian's far more tragic and much more serious health issues that he is facing, and they celebrate St. Patrick's Day to the appropriate level it deserves. Stay tuned until the end to hear the true origin of the fellows' famous "GLWYB" catch phrase. Stay tuned, because the boys (this podcast) are headed to YouTube very soon!Hit us up on Twitter @WeGaugeCagePodCatch us on Instagram @WeGaugeCagePodAnd as always, good luck with your balls.www.brockseargetbettersoonbabyboy.com

  • Episode 14 - The Runner

  • Episode 13 - Fire Birds (1990)
What's the opposite of Top Gun? If you guessed "bottom arrow," then congratulations! You are qualified to host this podcast! If you watched the 1990 Nicolas Cage film "Fire Birds," like Brock and Brian did this week, then you would know that "Fire Birds" is the true answer. This pale imitation of a Top Gun ripoff with (somehow) almost twice the budget, half the star power, a hundredth of the charisma, and 10% of the plot did not make any friends with our boys this week, to say the least. Amongst the color commentary of the helicopter dogfighting, Brian and Brock explore the origin of their friendship, they take umbrage with some video games, Brian makes a million-dollar Shark Tank pitch, and Brock attempts to stage an intervention for Brian's cinematic soul. It all leads up to the moment where Brian admits to committing an unforgivable sin. (Strings > Cubes, you monster.)Strap in, because this episode is busier than a three-peckered goat.

  • Episode 12 - Looking Glass (2018)
Do you believe in love at first sight? Neither do the boys. But they'll be damned if they're willing to give this film another watch and find out. Nic Cage's latest offering, 2018's "Looking Glass," did not provide the level of honesty, trust, and commitment that Brock and Brian were expecting from a filmital commitment. But before all that, get ready for a deep dive into Mall Talk, a look back at the good times had in the ol' cabin hot tub, the epic Divorce Party, and a rousing game of FKM. Enjoy?
