More than 15 women have now come forward saying that iconic fantasy writer Neil Gaiman (Coraline, The Sandman, Good Omens, American Gods) either blurred the line of consent, or directly and violently assaulted them.

On Monday, New York Magazine and its website Vulture published detailed firsthand accusations from eight women. The explicit details have shocked the literary and music worlds alike, but there's now another question...did his ex-wife, popular indie musician and activist Amanda Palmer know? Was she complicit in some instances of abuse?

July 27th, 1996. Atlanta, Georgia. During a free concert at Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, security guard Richard Jewell spotted an abandoned backpack. Authorities soon discovered that it contained a live bomb. The bomb detonated minutes later, but Jewell’s actions saved countless lives. Days later, he became the main suspect in the bombing. The public would immediately associate him with the bombing and some would continue to believe he was responsible even after the actual perpetrator confessed.

Canton, Massachusetts. January 29th, 2022. It was a blizzard-laden night, where the wind was howling, snow was coming down in sheets, and visibility dwindled to near nothingness. 

Karen Read and her boyfriend, police officer John O'Keefe, go out to a bar and meet up with fellow BPD-area officers. They decide to move the party to one of their homes.

The next morning, John O'Keefe was found on that home's lawn, unresponsive and covered in snow. What happened?  Did Karen Read hit him with her black Lexus SUV?  Was it an accident? Was it a crime of passion? Did emotions boil over into a fatal encounter? Or was John killed by his fellow officers in something far more sinister—an act of corruption and coverup, leading to an attempted framing of the innocent girlfriend?
