Society just loves to categorise us and honestly, we have had enough of it! From the Jezebel to the Sapphire and now the supposedly the ‘liberating’ strong black women trope, all of these stereotypes have negative consequences for black women and contribute to the racism, sexism and microaggressions we experience daily.
