One of the beauties of ruminant animals is their ability to use forages, but it's our job to manage those forages for the best use possible. Managing forages well increases dry-matter intake,  decreases the need and expense of supplemental feed, and even improves herd health. However, weeds — especially toxic weeds — throw a huge wrench in all of that.
