I often get asked, "What does a CFO do??". My short answer is typically that they turn data into decisions. The full answer is a much longer conversation. A Chief Financial Officer is the next step after you have solid bookkeeping in place and you have a tax pro helping you stay compliant. The CFO can then take that data and help you reach your business goals. Kind of like a business coach but powered by data and numbers.
