They say hindsight is 20-20. I think that phrase was created about motherhood. We go into this season of newness not knowing what to expect, but expecting to know it all. Of course, we don't.

I resisted homemaking for years, or at least the word itself. Embracing it for what it can do for my life has brought me peace and joy beyond measure. Today, I'm traveling back in time and telling my former self what I wish I knew about homemaking and motherhood then.
