What is the INL???

Idaho National Laboratory (or INL) is the nation’s leading center for nuclear energy research and development… and it’s located directly between Boise and Idaho Falls! 

Since 1949 the INL has been home to continuous nuclear and energy research, including naval testing and experimental nuclear reactors. This 890 square mile site operates as a multi-program facility offering science-based nuclear and energy research, education, supercomputing, national defense, and environmental cleanup. The cleanup activities at INL are overseen by the U.S Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Much of the current knowledge about how nuclear reactors behave and misbehave was discovered at what is now Idaho National Laboratory. 

CEO of BVA Development and host of the Inspire Excellence Podcast, Tommy Ahlquist, invited Amy Lientz on the show to give awareness to the INL and hopefully educate more people on what the INL does.
