After two and a half years of sitting in a red, white and green plywood box, the Christopher Columbus statue in South Philly is visible again. It’s been at the center of multiple lawsuits over whether or not it should be taken down. But that years-long court battle finally came to an end recently. City Cast Philly host Trenae Nuri talks with Emily Neil, freelance reporter for Billy Penn, about the saga and what’s going to happen to the statue.
