On this episode of the #AskMikeReinold show we talk about the differences between an athletic trainer and a physical therapist. Sure there are some overlaps, but I also think they are their own unique professions.
Disclaimer: We may have had a little too much coffee this morning and were a bit aggressive with our comments. There are a lot of pros behind the SCS and a lot of people worked really hard in its development. I don't want that to be lost in translation. But we do continue to feel that becoming an SCS should not serve as a replacement for athletic training. It needs to improve but I know this is being worked on by many. We look forward to the future of this specialization.
