What's working (and what's not) in run coaching right now!? Not trends, but what is working in the actual businesses of full time run coaches?
On this episode of the Runner Rising you'll get a glimpse of what it's like to be on a long run with my business partner and fellow run coach Jen Steele, which often are long conversations about business. I think you'll really enjoy this conversation & hopefully it sparks some ideas for you as well, just like it did for me.
Some things that came up include:
1. A hack Jen is using to improve communication with her athletes
2. How Nicole is using storytelling in the first person to grow on Instagram
3. A workout Jen is loving for her athletes who are intimidated by long run workouts and/or athletes early in a training cycle
4.How Nicole uses feedback via forms from her athletes and running community to improve
5. A general discussion on the realities of coaching and what happens when an athlete goes MIA.
6. The value of meeting your athletes in person and how to make that happen.
I also didn't get a chance to shout out Jen for achieving the milestone of being FULLY booked run coach for the first time this year! You can connect with Jen on Instagram at @misadventuresofamarathoner and my run coaching instagram account is @fitnessfatale.
