Who Would Watch This?

New season, new music, new cameras, same us!

You can watch this week's episode on YouTube: https://youtu.be/iiSy5b-6J3Y

Give us a watch, tell us what you think, and comment something cheeky ;).

This week Oscar and Carl continue Superhero Month by diving into the original Spider-Man trilogy. Spider-Man 3 follows Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) as he tries to balance his personal life with being Spider-Man. But in this third instalment, he’s up against his toughest challenge yet: Venom (Topher Grace), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), and his old friend turned foe, Harry Osborn (James Franco).  On top of all that, he’s struggling to keep his relationship with MJ (Kirsten Dunst) intact.

Oscar and Carl revisit this chaotic childhood classic to figure out… who would watch this?

It's season 6! We are kicking it off with a classic month of super hero movies, starting with 2011's The Green Hornet. Seth Rogen plays a billionaire playboy who is kind of a monster with Jay Chou’s Kato (A wizard), trying to stop Christoph Waltz. And of course, we got to figure out who would watch this.

We were meant to come swinging with a new look but we are not ready! Give us a week!

It’s our 5 Year Anniversary! Thank you once again for being a listener of our nonsense.

To celebrate, Carl and Oscar are diving into a very special game of podcast mad-libs. Yes, five years in and we’re scraping the barrel— (not a chat GPT '-' we are reclaiming it) but this time, the prompts are filled with every single movie we’ve ever covered.

Join us as we make up some more nonsense and try to figure out, as always: Who would watch this?

Oscar and Carl finally sit down to watch the new release/remake/reboot(?) I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025). They’re asking: Does this group of friends actually like each other? Should they have just turned on each other from the start? Can comedy podcasters pull off true crime? Does this story make sense as a reboot? And of course… who would watch this?

Oscar and Carl dive into the third installment of the I Know What You Did Last Summer franchise. Along the way, they tackle the big questions: Do the cops in this town even work on Fridays? Who’s responsible for moving all those mattresses? Is this secretly the best setup for an I Know What You Did Last Summer film? And, most importantly, who would actually watch this?

The sequel to 'I know what you did last summer'...' I still know what you did last summer' is the film we are doing this week. Honestly, just trying to get to the character limit by listing both movies.

'I still know what you did last summer' follows JLH and FPⱼᵣ  still on the run from the same killer, but this time, on holiday in the Bahamas!

Oscar and Carl watch this cheeky sequel, to figure out who would watch this.

Oscar and Carl dive headfirst into the gritty, grey-blue world of Fantastic Four (2015), and together they ask the important questions: what exactly was Doom doing on Planet Green Lava? Why does Reed Richards’ disguise look like he just got lost at a hardware store? Is this the least fun superpower montage in film history? And of course… who would watch this?

Today's episode is 2005's Robots....first off, lot of questions:

How do robots live? Who made them? What do they eat? What is their currency? How do robots grow? How do robots die? Do they have a soul? Did history happen exactly like us? What happened to us?

But the only question that really matters...Who would watch this?

This week, Oscar and Carl work out how to record and upload a podcast. You'd think they'd know how to do it after 5 years, but you'd be mistaken.

We’re back with Amanda Bynes Month, and this time we’re covering the cult classic Big Fat Liar!

Big Fat Liar follows Frankie Muniz, a teenage serial liar who's finally caught out and sentenced to summer school. In a last-ditch effort to avoid it, he writes a wild story about a boy who grows bigger every time he lies… only for a sleazy Hollywood exec (played by Paul Giamatti) to steal the script and turn it into a blockbuster.

Frankie teams up with Amanda Bynes to track him down, get revenge, and force a confession. Oscar and Carl watch Marty Wolf get his comeuppance and try and figure out who would watch this?
