This is a feeling reality. All you are ever doing is feeling something. Those feelings contain information and guidance. There are no negative or positive emotions. All emotions are neutral. However, you have learned to label the emotion as good or bad. What is actually happening is simply a feeling of connection or separation. When you feel connected with your inner self, meaning you are currently choosing to look at your life from a high perspective that is more aligned with your inner self's perspective, you feel positive emotion. When you are choosing to dip down into the lower perspective of victimhood, your perspective is different than your inner self's perspective and this is why you feel negative emotion. Therefore, the emotion is simply letting you know where your perspective is at any moment in time. Raise that perspective and you will feel better instantly
