We don’t actually make decisions based on facts alone.
We decide based on vibe.
In this episode, I’m talking about why the feeling of a space matters more than the logistics, especially when it comes to spiritual or intuitive practices.
Have you ever felt drawn to something but hesitated because you needed to know more about the energy before saying yes?
Who’s going to be there?
Who’s leading it, and what are they really like?
Do I need prior experience?
Are they going to use language I don’t understand?
Are they going to try to convert me to something?
Do I need to look a certain way or show up as a “better” version of myself?
These questions aren't resistance to overcome. They're discernment you want to honor!
In this episode, I share the imaginative scene that arrived during my own early-morning listening practice, a vision that showed me how to describe the place we are entering together in the Letters from Love women’s circle...
You’ll hear the full visualization and the story behind it, including why this practice is less about what you do and more about how it feels to arrive exactly as you are.
This episode is for you if:
You make decisions based on energy, not just information
You're craving hibernation-meets-devotion
You want community without pressure or performance
You’re curious about joining one of my women's circles and want to understand the vibe before deciding

More of a one-on-one person? I love that too. Learn more here.
I always hated January and February. To me they felt like the most depressing months of the year. Christmas was over, and now we just had to survive until March.
I hated Winter, until I learned how to Winter well.
Things have deeply changed for me in the last few years, and today I want to share with you the 3 biggest needle movers that have changed me from a Winter hater to a Winter lover.

Winter is about…
- turning inward, trusting intuition and getting clarity that sustains us all year
- embracing rest as a form of resistance to these unnatural systems around us
- accepting and appreciating silence, darkness, sadness and grief, hunger, and even magical inconveniences (like snow days!)
- being held
- and establishing roots and resilience.

I love honoring the Wheel of the Year with others by gathering together to celebrate how Nature is modeling wisdom for us in each season & aligning ourselves with it.
This turn in the Wheel of the Year is Imbolc (pronounced Imolk, from the Celtic phrase "in the belly" referring to the lamb's pregnant bellies this time of year.)
We are finally moving out of Winter hibernation and awakening to Spring!
This is the time for Spring cleaning, planting our seeds (literally and metaphorically), connecting to our playful and adventurous inner Maiden archetype, and setting goals for what we want to create this year.
Imbolc is an ancient Celtic winter fire festival honoring the return of the sun and the goddess Brigid. In more recent times, we have celebrated it in religion as St. Brigid's Day or Candlemas, and even secularly as Groundhog Day.

What if your body isn't fighting you but Intelligently communicating with you? What if problems aren't enemies to be avoided but portals meant to help us? What if the answer isn't to reduce our stress but to expand our capacity and make ourselves more resourced for it?
"Healing through nourishment" and "nourishment as the solution for everything" is a topic I'm constantly discussing with my clients that brings such relief, hope, ease, and resourcing to them, and I want to share it with you today too.

Winter is not the time for New Year's Resolutions—if that looks like taking action right now because we're "supposed to" even though we don't have the energy for it.
Statistics prove that Winter is not a Natural time to take massive action—23% of people give up on their resolutions within the first week and 88% by the second week.
Winter is, however, a very Natural time to attune to what Love is asking of you, to nourish yourself and let it root down into you, and to let your energy pool inside of you as it will naturally pick back up with the returning Light over the next 6 weeks.
This is the Natural time to rest and dream, to reimagine your life, to recreate yourself from the inside out. Nature is doing a lot of growth right now, but it's largely invisible, happening in the dark of the soil.
This is what's Natural for us to do right now too, and this episode will help you to do that.
Whether you're listening to this episode at the 2026 New Year or in the future, remember... You really do have permission to renegotiate the terms of your life and to reinvent your life, or any section of it, at any time.

My favorite holiday movie is The Holiday - you know the one with Kate Winslet and hunky Jude Law?
You don't have to have already seen the movie The Holiday, but we're going to be exploring the major themes of it together, exploring how we can step into being the leading lady of our own lives, like:
- finding gumption
- facing fears
- breaking patterns
- changing your atmosphere
- setting boundaries
- speaking up
- letting go
- knowing your values
- finding a supportive tribe

In this Winter conversation, I'm joined by Christian Rasmussen, founder of Amentara (formerly MN Nice Botanicals), whose work with Amanita muscaria has impacted thousands of people around the world. If you’ve followed my podcast for a while, you know I rarely bring guests on—even though I receive constant pitches. I said an instant yes to this interview because I already knew Christian’s work, and I’ve actually been purchasing Amanita from his website for the last few years. His company was recommended to me originally by Amanita Dreamer, whose research guided my earliest explorations with this mushroom.
Amanita muscaria—also known as fly-agaric—is the “other” psychedelic mushroom. It is legal, ancient, and culturally famous (yes, the Mario mushroom emoji 🍄).
And it is deeply connected to the Winter season, the Yule mythos, and the origins of Santa Claus as a psychedelic shamanic figure.
Christian’s mission is to create a safe and healing bridge between humans, plants, fungi, and spirit—and to teach others how to cross it. In this episode, we explore the science, the history, the lore, and the lived, embodied experience of working with this mushroom.
We explore...
And at the end, I'm reading out loud for you a journal entry of what I felt on a microdose, so you can get a feel for the way it might speak to you too.Mentioned in this episode:

This replay of our Wild Wellness Women's Circle seasonal gathering explores Yule as a sacred turning point—a time when we emerge from darkness, not with pressure or performance, but with reverence, rest, and meaning-making.
We honored the season of winter as a time of clarity, healing, and vision. We centered slowness, sovereignty, and sacred reflection instead of rigid resolutions.
🎧 Listen in as we explore:
The healing medicine of winter—through removal, quiet, and returning to the bare essentials
What it means to live an evergreen life, where roots and values hold steady even in stillness
Why rest is not lazy—it’s revolutionary (and biologically wise)
How to reframe the end of the year as a time for reflection and meaning-making, not pressure
The invitational alternative to goal-setting (and why asking might be your truest portal)
The gifts of your own inner winter—whether through your menstrual cycle, spiritual season, or nervous system need
