1. A new study finds many Americans now pay more for childcare than they do for rent. The personal finance site Lending Tree says families with two children pay more than 22 hundred dollars a month for childcare, on average. That’s more than the average rent for a two-bedroom unit in 85 U.S. cities. In a new Brigham Young University poll, seven in ten Americans said raising children is unaffordable.

2. Recently, Shedeur Sanders, a rookie quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, experienced a break-in at his home during his NFL debut on November 16, 2025. The incident occurred shortly after he made his first appearance as a starter, with three suspects entering the residence and stealing approximately $200,000 in property.

3. With Thanksgiving a little more than a week away, it's time to start looking ahead to Christmas and Christmas trees. That raises the age-old question: real or fake. The American Christmas Tree Association says 83 percent of homes that put up a tree will go artificial. But it’s been a pretty good growing year for the nation’s Christmas tree farms and prices will reflect that. With most of our Christmas decorations coming from China, the price of artificial trees will run about 20 percent higher this year than last.

1. The Epstein bill is now on its way to the White House. This is the measure that would force the Justice Department to release files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The Senate formally received the bill this morning. Now, it waits for President Trump's signature. President Trump was initially opposed to releasing the files but has since said he’ll sign this bill. With his signature, the Justice Department, FBI, and U.S. attorney's offices would be forced to release their files related to Epstein, his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell, and other entities connected to them within 30 days.

2. A bipartisan bill to legalize online sports betting in Wisconsin is being tabled by the assembly today. The passage of SB592 would set the stage for legalized mobile sports betting in Wisconsin through tribal partnerships. Wisconsin law currently restricts most forms of gambling to the physical tribal territory, one must physically be at Potawatomi, or Ho Chunk, or Oneida for example, to gamble. Not surprisingly, all the tribal-owned casinos are behind it, the Milwaukee Brewers and the MMAC are also supportive. Those against the idea include anti-gambling advocates, legal groups who believe this would be a violation of Wisconsin law and daily fantasy sites such as Draft Kings. Apps like Draft Kings, Prize Picks and Underdog Fantasy are available in Wisconsin because the state's legal framework classifies them as games of skill (Daily Fantasy Sports or DFS), not traditional sports gambling. This classification allows them to operate in states where conventional sports betting is otherwise restricted or illegal. The model being proposed uses a HUB and SPOKE method for connecting users to the tribal casino of their choice. The “hub” in this case, is a server located on tribal land and the “spokes” are the users throughout the state. So long as the server is on tribal land, it would be legal.

3. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is out with a new video urging travelers to mind their Ps and Qs on the plane. Ahead of this holiday travel season, Duffy says, let's bring civility and manners back. And he has some guiding questions for passengers, ask yourself, are you helping a pregnant woman put her bag in the overhead bin? Are you dressing with respect? Are you keeping control of your children? Are you saying thank you to your flight attendants and your pilots? Because no one wants to kick off Thanksgiving by getting kicked off the plane.

ABC News Technology Reporter Mike Dobuski talks about how for years three companies have dominated the gaming world: PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo. But now there's a new company aiming to disrupt the gaming oligopoly: Valve. The company itself isn't new, it's been operating an online store for games called "Steam" for years now, and it's not their first attempt at hardware. The original "Steam Machines" from a decade ago are largely regarded as flops. Do the new devices change the game?

1. The House has voted overwhelmingly to pass a bill to force the Justice Department to publicly release its files on the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump now says he will sign the bill if it passes the Senate.

2. Some developing Southeast Wisconsin business news today. Rockwell Automation is announcing plans for a million-square foot plant in the region. The Milwaukee Business Journal's Rich Kirchen is reporting while the location is not 100% certain, it is expected to be near their global headquarters in Walker's Point. It's likely the plant would house manufacturing and warehouse space complete with advanced automation systems. Notably among that automation, Rockwell says AI and analytics tools will be a big part of the development could be another indicator of the necessity of data centers in the region.
