ABC News Correspondent Jim Ryan talks about how the West Texas measles outbreak that began in January was declared over in August, but not before sickening more than 750 people, sending 99 to the hospital and killing at least two. While the illness might finally be under control in the Lone Star State, other parts of the country continue to see infections. No new fatalities have been reported, but the CDC has been monitoring the highest national numbers since 2000.

1. The National Transportation Safety Board is expected to start its investigation today into a plane that went down on its way to Kenosha. The single-engine plane crashed Monday morning on a highway in Massachusetts. The plane burst into flames on impact. A husband and wife from Rhode Island were killed: Thomas and Agatha Perkins. Both were in their upper 60s. The NTSB team will work to pinpoint what caused the crash. We do know it left New Bedford Regional Airport headed to Kenosha during a nor'easter. Thomas Perkins worked with Angel Flight of New England, a group that provides free medical flights for patients in need. A representative of the group says the couple was on a personal family flight to Kenosha.

2. Instagram is unveiling new safety measures for younger users. The social media site is revamping Teen Accounts to be guided by PG-13 movie ratings, meaning teens will see content that’s like what they’d see in a PG-13 movie, by default. For example, teens cannot follow or interact with accounts that regularly post mature content. Mature accounts will have a harder time discovering teen accounts through search or recommendations. The PG-13 restrictions will also apply to Instagram's AI chats to prevent age-inappropriate responses.

3. The Brewers hope to bounce back tonight! It's Game 2 of the NLCS. The Brewers take on the LA Dodgers here at home looking to get the offense going after logging just 2 hits in Monday's 2-1 loss. Pat Murphy's lineup had no answer for two-time Cy Young Award winner, Blake Snell. Brewers ace Freddy Peralta starts tonight for the Brewers. It's another 7:08 first pitch. Dodgers lead the series 1-0.

Starting today, fans will be able to get four new food items as the Brewers take on the Dodgers! New food includes Birria Ramen, Jalapeno Cheddar Crunch Wrap, J. Leinenkugel's Barrel Yard 'RBI Beef Sandwich', Leinenkugel's Pilot Beers, and Murph's Pocket Pancakes.

Thousands of employees from major federal agencies are out of their jobs, after President Trump followed through with his threat to fire them. According to a lawsuit, it's about four-thousand federal workers who had been furloughed but are now fired. The Trump Administration says that number will rise.

2. From the NLDS to the NLCS, the Brewers path to a championship continues tonight with game one of a best-of-seven series against the Dodgers. It's a rematch of the 2018 NLCS in which the Dodgers won in seven games. The Brewers had home field advantage in that series, and they have home field advantage this time around, as well. Keep an eye on the roster. The Brewers had 3 days off in the 5-game NLDS series against the Cubs. In the NLCS, the Brewers could have only two days off in a 7-game series. The Brewers have not yet communicated a starting pitcher for tonight's game. The Dodgers will send former Cy Young Award winning lefty Blake Snell to the mound.

3. President Trump is calling for a "new era of harmony" in the Middle East. Trump spoke today during a global summit in Egypt on Gaza’s future, trying to advance broader peace in the region after visiting Israel to celebrate a US-brokered ceasefire with Hamas. Hamas released all 20 remaining Israeli hostages and Israel released nearly two-thousand Palestinian prisoners. The exchange was part of a ceasefire plan Hamas agreed to last week.
