2. President Donald Trump is on the ground in Egypt, for a summit with world leaders on the future of Gaza following a US-brokered ceasefire. Before arriving in Egypt, President Trump gave an address to Israel's parliament to celebrate the ceasefire and the release of hostages. The trip coincided with the release of the remaining 20 living Israeli hostages by Hamas and the release of nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners by Israel. Trump declared the war in Gaza "is over," though many aspects of the longer-term peace plan remain uncertain. The next phase involves implementing a plan for the reconstruction of Gaza and establishing a new governing structure that excludes Hamas.

3. Summerfest starts the new work week with a big concert announcement! Post Malone will headline the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Saturday, June 27th. This will mark Post Malone's first concert at Summerfest. Post headlined Coachella this spring before hitting the road. When he first burst into the music scene, he leaned heavily into hip-hop, but now he's making his way into country music. Tickets for his Summerfest show go on sale Friday.

1. Taking her voice back and sharing her story with the world. In a new video on social media, Chloe Handrich, one of the young ladies, who was hit and seriously injured on Milwaukee's Water Street this summer is speaking out about the crash that changed her life forever. Handrich and a friend were crossing Water Street when a woman drove straight through barricades and hit them. The driver was given traffic tickets but wasn't arrested and hasn't been criminally charged. Handrich says the driver was reckless and didn't have insurance. The 22-year-old spent more than two weeks in the hospital, had seven blood transfusions, and two surgeries. Since the driver wasn't insured, Handrich and her family are paying for the mounting medical bills. You can help out by donating to her GoFundMe page.

2. Growing anxiety among military families as the government shutdown stretches into its 10th day. The Senate has left Washington and is not scheduled to hold any more votes on the funding issue until next week. While federal employees are typically guaranteed back pay once a shutdown ends, President Donald Trump has suggested that some workers might not receive it, adding to the uncertainty.

1. The White House has followed through on its threat of mass firings of federal workers. "The RIFs have begun" that's the message posted on social media by Russ Vought, the head of the White House Office of Management and Budget. These reductions-in-force come amid the government shutdown as the Senate has been unable to pass a short-term federal funding bill. These firings are described by the budget office as "substantial." The move by the Trump administration is meant to pressure Senate democrats to drop their demand to extend expiring subsidies that help millions of Americans buy health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

2. The NLDS comes down to this: One game, against a division rival, for the opportunity to face the Dodgers in the NLCS. Game 5 of the NLDS will be played in Milwaukee Saturday night, with the winning team moving on, and the losing team out of the postseason. First pitch is scheduled for 7:08 Saturday night. The last time the Brewers played a Game 5 in the NLDS was October of 2011. Neither team has communicated a starting pitcher for Saturday's game.

3. Hundreds of National Guard troops sent by the President are still in Illinois, even though a federal judge has ruled they shouldn't be there. The judge temporarily blocked them from deploying anywhere in the state after some soldiers turned out to protect a federal immigration facility outside Chicago. This is the latest setback in the President's effort to send troops to support immigration enforcement in cities run by Democrats.
