ABC News Correspondent Jim Ryan talks about how a technical glitch that silenced some of the nation’s busiest airspace Friday has been traced to a single contractor who accidentally severed a fiber optic cable in tiny Argyle, Texas. American Airlines, the largest carrier at D/FW Airport, said more than 100-thousand passengers were impacted by the resulting shutdown of a key air traffic control system. Southwest Airlines, the dominant carrier at Dallas Love Field, delayed more than 11-hundred flights.

Jeff Levering, play-by-play announcer for Brewers telecasts, talks about what the celebration inside the clubhouse was like after the team clinched the NL Division for the third consecutive season, the latest injury report, and who could be some postseason contenders.

1. Today the Trump Administration is expected to announce there are links between taking Tylenol during pregnancy and autism. Earlier this month, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Junior said he wanted to find a root cause of autism by this month. But many researchers who have studied autism links for decades say several months isn't enough time. However, there are no studies proving that the use of Tylenol carries autism risks for kids. Tylenol's owner says in part, "We believe independent, sound science clearly shows that taking acetaminophen does not cause autism." The announcement is expected around 3pm today.

2. The White House is revealing more details of the deal to save TikTok. A United States based group is being assembled to manage TikTok's American operations. TikTok is not selling its proprietary algorithm, but the U.S. will lease a version of it. The leased algorithm will be controlled by American interests and Oracle will manage it. Oracle will also recreate and secure a new U.S. version of the algorithm from the ground up, addressing security concerns raised by U.S. lawmakers. ByteDance will not have access to U.S. user data or control over the algorithm used in the U.S. And then there's the board of directors being assembled by President Trump. The board of directors will consist of six Americans and one Chinese representative.

3. Taylor Swift fans will be high-tailing it to movie theaters next month. On October 3rd, the same day "The Life of a Showgirl" arrives, Swift will debut "Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl," an 89-minute celebration set to screen in thousands of theaters across the country.

1. Cases of COVID-19 are growing in five states, including Wisconsin. Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, New York, and Delaware are seeing an increase in COVID infections, according to the latest CDC data. Here in Wisconsin, The Department of Health Services issued a statewide order that allows most Wisconsinites who want the vaccine to get it at pharmacies across the state without a prescription. DHS continues to recommend the COVID-19 vaccine for Wisconsinites six months and older this fall.

2. Sometimes when you lose, you still win, that's the case for the Milwaukee Brewers. Despite a Sunday afternoon loss to the Cardinals in St Louis earn a third-straight NL Central division title, thanks to the Reds four-game sweep of the Cubs. And that prompted a champagne celebration in the clubhouse. But there is still more to play for! The Brewers have a magic number of three to lock down the top overall seed in the National League playoffs. Six games to play: Three against the Padres in San Diego beginning tonight. And one final home series against the Reds to round out the regular season.

3. The Trump administration is revealing some possible buyers for the wildly popular social media app TikTok.

A WTMJ EXCLUSIVE: The Milwaukee man found guilty of killing and dismembering 19-year-old Sade Robinson has been moved to a facility outside of Wisconsin. 35-year-old Maxwell Anderson is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole. State records confirm he was moved out-of-state, but they don't indicate where he's being held right now. That's typically done for security reasons. Anthony Cotton confirms Anderson was indeed transferred out of Wisconsin but says he doesn't know why or where he is now. A move like this is rare, but it does happen from time to time. Jake Patterson, the man who abducted Jayme Closs and killed her parents, was moved out of Wisconsin to a prison in New Mexico. So was Chai Vang who shot and killed six deer hunters in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Vang was sent to a prison in Iowa.

2. A CDC advisory committee is meeting for a second day to discuss new vaccine recommendations. The committee agrees to table a vote on making new recommendations for hepatitis B vaccines. Also being discussed today, the COVID-19 vaccine and whether to restrict its use. On Thursday, the committee voted to change its recommendation, stating that the MMRV combined vaccine should not be given to children under age 4. Instead, they advised that children in this age group should receive the separate MMR and chickenpox) vaccines.
