President of the Wisconsin Underwater Archaeology Association Brendon Baillod talks about finding a “ghost ship” that sank in Lake Michigan nearly 140 years ago and eluded several search efforts over the past five decades. Earlier this year, a team of researchers with the Wisconsin Underwater Archeology Association and Wisconsin Historical Society located the shipwreck off the coastal town of Baileys Harbor. What went into finding the ship?

1. A bigger investment from Microsoft. The tech company is investing an additional $4 billion dollar to further expand its planned datacenter campus in Mount Pleasant. That brings Microsoft's total investment in Wisconsin to more than seven billion dollars.

2. It's the end of the line for Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. ABC is suspending the show indefinitely after Kimmel's comments about Charlie Kirk's assassination came under harsh criticism from the head of the FCC. The network announced Wednesday that “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” would be suspended after Nexstar Communications, which operates 23 ABC affiliates, refused to carry the program. The Sinclair Broadcast Group announced plans to replace Kimmel's ABC timeslot with a remembrance special honoring Kirk on Friday, September 19th. Hearst Media owns the ABC affiliate in Milwaukee. WTMJ has reached out for comment but has yet to hear back. Hollywood Unions say the move set a dangerous precedent with regards to free speech.

3. Holiday shopping may not be as strong this year. A new Mastercard forecast predicts holiday retail sales will rise 3.6 percent this year, compared to 4.1 percent last year. Even online sales growth will be slower than it was last year. Mastercard says with inflation still a concern and the tariffs kicking in, pricing will matter more. Shoppers will be looking for more discounts and promotions.

1. JUST IN: A bombshell lawsuit. The Federal Trade Commission and seven states are suing Ticketmaster and its parent company Live Nation. Wisconsin is not among the seven states joining the FTC in this lawsuit, at least not yet, but this could still impact you. The Chairman says, "It should not cost an arm and a leg to take the family to a baseball game or attend your favorite musician's show. The FTC is working hard to ensure fans have a shot at buying fair-priced tickets and today's lawsuit is a monumental step in that direction." Ticketmaster controls about 80 percent of the ticketing for major concert venues in the U.S.

2. A key meeting is underway in Atlanta. The CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is meeting today. On the agenda, reviewing guidance on several vaccines, including Hepatitis B, COVID-19, and MMRV. The meeting comes less than a month after the woman leading the CDC was fired by Health and Human Services Secretary, Robert F Kennedy Junior. The recommendations from this panel are highly influential. They inform official CDC guidance, determine what insurance companies must cover, and affect state vaccine policies.

3. Guess who's coming Back to Summerfest? It's a big get for the Big Gig. Just announced today, Ed Sheeran will headline the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Thursday, June 25th. That's the second Thursday of Summerfest. The last time Ed Sheeran performed at Summerfest was back in 2015. He played at the Marcus 10 years ago, when he was just getting big. He's won four Grammys since then. Sheeran's stop at Summerfest this year is part of his worldwide "LOOP Tour." Tickets go on sale next Friday.

ABC News Investigative Reporter Peter Charalambous talks about how a New York judge on Tuesday threw out terrorism charges against Luigi Mangione, rejecting the Manhattan district attorney's theory in a state murder case that the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was "intended to evoke terror." Judge Gregory Carro kept other charges in place, including a second-degree murder count that requires prosecutors to prove Mangione intended to kill Thompson but not that he was doing so as an act of terrorism. The ruling eliminated the top two charges in Mangione's state case, sparing him the possibility of a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole. The 27-year-old Ivy League graduate is also facing a parallel federal death penalty prosecution.
