The Department of Homeland Security says ICE raids have now launched in Boston just days after authorities detained more than 300 South Korean nationals during a raid at a Hyundai plant in Georgia.

2. Summerfest announces its first headlining act for 2026, and it's a big one! Garth Brooks, the best-selling solo artist in U.S. history, will take the stage at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater, June 17, 2026. The show will mark Brooks’ first-ever appearance ever at Summerfest and his first Milwaukee concert in more than a decade. Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. They will be available online at Summerfest.com and Ticketmaster.com.

3. Not one, but two winning Powerball tickets were sold prior to Saturday's $1.8 billion dollar drawing. One in Missouri and another in an area of Texas hit hard by recent deadly flooding. The largest Powerball jackpot on record remains the $2.04 billion prize won in California on November 7, 2022. The wins end a streak of 42 consecutive drawings with no one claiming the jackpot.

Then-candidate Trump was playing golf in Florida last year when Secret Service agents say they spotted the barrel of an assault-style rifle in the bushes. The man behind the gun was Ryan Rooth. Rooth has pleaded not guilty to five felony counts, including attempted assassination of a major presidential candidate. Routh faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted of the federal charge of attempting to assassinate a major presidential candidate.

3. A dominant win for the Packers in the regular season opener against the Lions! The Packers defense logged 4 sacks and held the Lions to just 46 yards rushing in a 27-13 win. The Lions only Touchdown came with under a minute left in the game. A very quick turnaround for the Packers who will host the Washington Commanders Thursday night.
