1. The FBI just released pictures of who they're calling a "person of interest" in the Charlie Kirk killing. The FBI released two photos showing a man wearing a hat and black sunglasses. He's wearing jeans and a long-sleeved shirt that has an American flag on it. A manhunt is underway right now for the shooter who killed the political activist. The close ally of President Trump was shot during an event at "Utah Valley University" on Wednesday. During an update on the investigation this morning, officials said they found the murder weapon and had video of the suspect, but at that time, they were not going to release any pictures to the public. Now they have.

2. Some relief for flood victims in southeastern Wisconsin. The Commercial Association of Realtors in Wisconsin is partnering with the Realtors Relief Foundation to offer financial assistance for homeowners and renters whose homes were damaged or destroyed in the August 10th floods. Through a $125,000 grant from the RFF, eligible households in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties may apply for up to $1,000 in housing relief. The application deadline is November 19, 2025, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Governor Tony Evers estimates $43 million in public damage with at least $33 million in private home losses. Victims are urging President Trump to approve a disaster declaration.

3. Americans are staring down the barrel of the highest inflation since January. Clothing prices rose last month, just in time for families to buy new back-to-school clothes!

The sidewalk in front of St. Joan of Arc Chapel on the campus of Marquette University displays messages of remembrance this afternoon for the two student athletes who were killed in a crash last week. A class started the notes. Now the MU community is invited to join. Meanwhile, the woman accused of hitting and killing 20-year-old Noah Snyder and 19-year-old Scott Michaud has just been charged. Amandria Brunner of West Allis admitted to drinking before the crash. She's now charged with two counts of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of Vehicle, second offense. She was previously convicted of OWI in 2003. Brunner is sitting in the Milwaukee County Jail Right now. Her bond is 150-thousand dollars.

2. Operation Midway Blitz is underway! It's a 30-day operation in the Chicagoland area targeting suspected gang members. Federal immigration authorities with ICE are leading the enforcement operation. The Department of Homeland Security stated the operation was launched in honor of Katie Abraham, a 20-year-old killed in a hit-and-run crash in January 2025 by an undocumented immigrant. The operation has been met with significant backlash and protests from local officials, immigrant advocates, and community leaders.

3. For the first time in his own words, we're hearing from the Wisconsin man who faked his own death and left the country. 46-year-old Ryan Borgwardt gained national attention last year, when he disappeared after a kayaking trip on Green Lake. After weeks of searching that lake, investigators later uncovered, Borgwardt was actually alive. He faked his own death, left his family, and went to Eastern Europe to see a woman he met online. While police interrogated Borgwardt, he admitted that he questioned himself along the way. Borgwardt is since divorced and now living in Appleton. He has three kids and just turned 46 yesterday. He pleaded no contest last month to a charge of obstructing an officer. The judge sentenced him to 89 days in jail. According to the Green Lake County Correctional Facility, Borgwardt has not reported yet. He has 60 days from sentencing to do so. He also has to pay 30-thousand dollars in restitution.

On WTMJ's Point Taken today, Crowley said people around the state of Wisconsin need affordable rent, affordable healthcare, and affordable food. Crowley said he's uniquely positioned to help with that. Crowley joins Lt. Governor Sara Rodriguez and longtime beer vendor Ryan Strand as those running for Governor on the Democratic side. Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann and New Berlin Businessman and former NAVY Seal Bill Berrien are running on the Republican side.

2. Jury selection continues today in Florida at the trial of Ryan Routh, the man accused of attempting to assassinate President Trump. Routh is not a lawyer, but he's choosing to represent himself. The court is trying to make sure this doesn't turn into a circus. Twenty-seven out of the 60 prospective jurors claimed that they had a hardship that would prevent them from participating on the jury for Routh's case. Meanwhile, Routh claimed he had reservations about many potential jurors but couldn't identify specific concerns.
