1. A suspect is now in custody for the deadly shooting of political activist Charlie Kirk. Investigators identified the man as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson. Robinson was caught in Washington County, Utah. That's nearly three hours away from Utah Valley University where the shooting took place. Investigators say a video of the suspect helped in his apprehension. So did a family member who convinced Robinson to turn himself in. Investigators say Robinson's family recently noticed he had become "more political." At a recent dinner, he even mentioned Charlie Kirk's tour stop at the UVU campus. Today, President Trump said he hopes Robinson gets the death penalty.

2. The FAA is investigating the cause of a single engine plane crash in Lake Michigan. The Cirrus SR22 Aircraft departed Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport at 12:17 Thursday afternoon and crashed approximately 20 minutes later, at 12:37 p.m. The crash occurred in Lake Michigan, about 12 nautical miles offshore from Racine. The FAA is investigating what led the pilot of the plane to deploy the parachute system. A Milwaukee Coast Guard crew rescued the three individuals from the water, all of whom were uninjured. As for the aircraft, it sank. It's not considered to be a navigational hazard.

3. We’re nowhere near pandemic numbers, but COVID is making a comeback. One of the newest COVID variants is called Nimbus, dubbed by some physicians as razor-blade throat because of its symptoms. Federal regulators have imposed new restrictions on who can get the vaccine, and some states are flouting the FDA rules and providing the shot to anyone who asks for it.

1. The FBI just released pictures of who they're calling a "person of interest" in the Charlie Kirk killing. The FBI released two photos showing a man wearing a hat and black sunglasses. He's wearing jeans and a long-sleeved shirt that has an American flag on it. A manhunt is underway right now for the shooter who killed the political activist. The close ally of President Trump was shot during an event at "Utah Valley University" on Wednesday. During an update on the investigation this morning, officials said they found the murder weapon and had video of the suspect, but at that time, they were not going to release any pictures to the public. Now they have.

2. Some relief for flood victims in southeastern Wisconsin. The Commercial Association of Realtors in Wisconsin is partnering with the Realtors Relief Foundation to offer financial assistance for homeowners and renters whose homes were damaged or destroyed in the August 10th floods. Through a $125,000 grant from the RFF, eligible households in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties may apply for up to $1,000 in housing relief. The application deadline is November 19, 2025, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Governor Tony Evers estimates $43 million in public damage with at least $33 million in private home losses. Victims are urging President Trump to approve a disaster declaration.

1. A massive manhunt is underway in Utah for the person who assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Kirk was shot and killed yesterday afternoon during an event at Utah Valley University. Kirk's killer has not been caught yet, but the FBI says they found a weapon, the gun that killed Kirk. Agents also say they've tracked the movements of the suspect. That's Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason. Kirk founded the conservative group "Turning Point USA." Local law enforcement officers say a lone gunman took a single shot from a rooftop more than 100 yards from where Kirk was sitting.

2. Events are being held throughout the day in Wisconsin, and across the nation on the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. County Executive David Crowley was just one of the local leaders speaking today at the War Memorial in Milwaukee. The 9/11 attacks were the precursor to the War in Afghanistan launched to dismantle al-Qaeda and the Taliban regime, part of the wider military campaign known as the Global War on Terror.

3. Uber's ridesharing service is going airborne! The move marks Uber’s biggest push yet into short-distance air travel. They mentioned they don't have details on routes yet, but you know it's going to happen in cities like New York first, then make its way to smaller cities.

ABC News Crime and Terrorism Analyst Brad Garrett talks about how authorities do not have a motive or announced any criminal charges. But one thing is very clear, the circumstances of the shooting draw attention to an escalating threat of political violence in the United States that in the last several years has cut across the ideological spectrum. The FBI's investigation will include combing through the suspect’s personal writings, social media feeds, questioning friends and relatives to see if the suspect gave any indication that the shooting was going to happen. People at the Kirk rally were said to have commented on the lack of security, including no metal detectors and no bag checks. But the fact that it seems the shooter was in an elevated spot and not in the crowd, shows that those things wouldn't have mattered. Still, it is questionable that, despite Kirk having his own security team and plain clothes LEO's in the crowd, the event wasn't buttoned up more.
