1. The La Crosse Police Department gives an update on the Viterbo University grad student found dead in the Mississippi River this week. Police say they do NOT believe there was any criminal conduct related to the death of Eliotte Heinz. They're basing that finding off the preliminary autopsy results. Final autopsy results will not be completed for several months. A fisherman found Heinz body in the Mississippi River in Brownsville, Minnesota, less than 10 miles from where she went missing. The 22-year-old was last seen alive early Sunday morning, after a night out in downtown La Crosse. Security video captured her walking down Front Street just before 3:30 AM.

2. Here they come, wasting no time. Less than 24 hours after Governor Tony Evers announced he is not running for re-election, the first Democrat to enter the race is Lt. Governor Sara Rodriguez. The Lt. Governor posted a produced-up video announcement on social media around seven this morning. So, this was in the works well before Evers announced he would not seek a third term. Meanwhile, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley says he will be taking steps towards entering the Governor's race. Crowley's statement today says "The stakes are simply too high to sit on the sidelines." On the Republican side: Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann and Businessman Bill Berrien are running so far. Who's next? We'll see.

2. If you're going to the Milwaukee Brewers game and celebration of 25 seasons at American Family Field on July 25, here's your guide. The Crew takes on the Miami Marlins at 3:10 p.m. But the fun begins before then. To commemorate a quarter-century at the ballpark, the team is welcoming back a player from each of those seasons, including fan favorites like Ryan Braun and Carlos Gómez. Ballpark officials are encouraging fans to arrive early.

3.We're about two hours away from the annual Green Bay Packers shareholders meeting. This year, it's different. Today is the last day on the job for Packers CEO & President Mark Murphy. Head Coach Matt LaFleur reflected on his time with Murphy during his time with the media today. Murphy retires today after 17 years with the Green Bay Packers and Ed Policy takes over. ABC News Investigative Reporter Peter Charalambous talks about how UnitedHealth Group faces a criminal and civil investigation from the Department of Justice, the company disclosed on Thursday. Little is known at the moment about the nature of the investigation, but adds to an increasingly tumultuous year for the country’s largest healthcare company. United Healthcare was thrown into the spotlight after last year’s fatal shooting of CEO Brian Thompson, sparking a national conversation about frustrations with healthcare companies. The company’s CEO abruptly left the company in May, and the company’s stock price plunged following a series of reports in The Wall Street Journal about civil and criminal probes into the company. The WSJ reported in May that the DOJ’s healthcare-fraud unit was investigating possible Medicare fraud at the company, adding to investigations of potential antitrust violations and its Medicare billing practices. The company was the worst performer on the Dow Jones Industrial Average during the first half of 2025.
