1. Here they come, wasting no time. Less than 24 hours after Governor Tony Evers announced he is not running for re-election, the first Democrat to enter the race is Lt. Governor Sara Rodriguez. The Lt. Governor posted a produced-up video announcement on social media around seven this morning. So, this was in the works well before Evers announced he would not seek a third term. Meanwhile, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley says he will be taking steps towards entering the Governor's race. Crowley's statement today says "The stakes are simply too high to sit on the sidelines." On the Republican side: Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann and Businessman Bill Berrien are running so far. Who's next? We'll see.

2. It's the last day on the job for outgoing Packers President and CEO, Mark Murphy. After 17 years on the job, Murphy will officially pass the torch to Ed Policy at today's meeting of shareholders in Green Bay. Under Murphy, the Packers won a Super Bowl, hosted the draft, transitioned from one Hall of Fame QB to another, guided multiple renovation projects at Lambeau Field and developed the Titletown District into a year round destination.

3. It's a development that hits close to home here in Milwaukee. One of the three Ohio police officers, shot in an ambush this week, has died. Two Milwaukee police officers are among those 50. Officer Kendall Corder died from his injuries, after being shot during an ambush attack in late June. His partner, Officer Christopher McCray, is still recovering from his injuries.

2. Witnesses are now sharing the heartbreaking moment the body of a missing Viterbo University grad student was found. The search for 22-year-old Eliotte Heinz ended yesterday. We know now it was a fisherman who found Heinz. Her body was discovered in the Mississippi River in Brownsville, Minnesota, just south of Lawrence Lake Marina. Sheldon Johnson works there and witnessed it all. The 22-year-old went missing early Sunday morning, after a night out in downtown La Crosse. Security video captured her walking down Front Street just before 3:30am. The La Crosse Police Department is now investigating what exactly led to Heinz death, did she simply fall into the river or was it something else?

3. Wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan has died. His manager confirms Hogan died at his home in Clearwater, Florida, surrounded by family. He was 71 years old. "The Hulk" won six WWE championships. He was inducted into the W-W-E "Hall of Fame" back in 2005. "The Hulk" was here in Milwaukee about a year ago. He was a guest at the Republican National Convention, just days after the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. It was The Hulk, Kid Rock, and Donald Trump that night. Hulk was wearing a blue suit and he had a hulk hogan t-shirt under it. He had a red bandana on his head, sunglasses propped up on top of it, even though he was inside, chain around his neck, that signature mustache. It was very Hulk Hogan. Hogan is survived by his ex-wife and two children.
