Ryan Rudnitzki previews the Wauwatosa School Board meeting set for tonight, where the board will discuss and finalize the timeline for Dr. Means' annual evaluation. Some members of the community have been publicly calling for Dr. Means' termination, citing concerns about his leadership, transparency, and handling of certain situations within the district. One of the main points of contention is his handling of the WSTEM School closure. Ryan Rudnitzki has two kids at the WSTEM School and is a member of the WSTEM Governance Council. He details the disconnect in communication between the two parties.

1. The Trump Administration is calling the weekend strikes on three nuclear sites in Iran a success. The Saturday strikes targeted sites the administration claims were housing nuclear materials, like uranium. But Iran says they moved a lot of those materials out before the strikes. Today, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said they're making sure the 40-thousand U.S. troops who are stationed in the region are safe from any possible retaliation. There's also concern Iran will retaliate by trying to close the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most critical oil "choke-points" in the world. Each day about 20 million barrels of oil flow through the narrow waterway.

2. Will the United States remain involved in the conflict? Senior FBI and Homeland Security officials hosting conference calls with some of the nation's governors and top law enforcement officials to discuss how the U.S. missile strikes in Iran impact an already dangerous threat environment. Ganyard believes if Iranians don't strike back at US forces or US allie sin the region, it COULD be the end of the United States involvement.

3. Roughly half of the nation's population is starting the week under some level of heat alert. That includes us here in Wisconsin. Extreme Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories continue until seven o'clock tonight. The record high for us today is 95 degrees set back in 1934. Our friends over at TMJ4 are forecasting 95 today, so we'll see if we match that record or possibly exceed it. Relief finally comes tomorrow for us. Our high temp tomorrow will be just 80 degrees.

Cybersecurity specialists say that includes the “unsubscribe” button found at the bottom of many such emails. Clicking “unsubscribe” may flag your email address as active and open you up to a flood of future spam, phishing attempts, or malware-laden communications.

1. Dangerous heat ahead. The next three days are going to be brutally hot in Wisconsin. Heat advisories and extreme heat warnings go into effect at noon tomorrow and last until 7 Monday night. "Feels like" temps could reach 110 degrees. Heat is spreading across much of the country. Some 100 million people are under heat alerts. Cooling sites are available throughout Milwaukee County. You can call "211" for a list. Kenosha County just updated its list of cooling centers.

2. Some top doctors now say weight-loss drugs should be the first step to prevent heart disease. Until now, the American College of Cardiology recommended obese patients make lifestyle changes before turning to drugs like Wegovy or Zepbound. Now The ACC says those drugs should be the first line of defense against heart disease. The ACC says the drugs are more effective than lifestyle changes, and not as risky as weight-loss surgery.

2. President Trump is now giving himself a two-week deadline to make a decision on a possible strike against Iran. In the same statement, he says he's allowing that time because of the possibility of negotiations. Meanwhile, the organizations representing critical networks that keep the lights on, the water running and transportation systems humming across the U.S. are bracing for a possible surge of Iranian cyberattacks.

3. A man in Ohio is under arrest, accused of trying to run a lawmaker off the road. Investigators say the man threatened Republican Representative Max Miller. This incident comes after a man shot two Minnesota lawmakers, killing one of them.
