ABC News State Department Correspondent Shannon Kingston talks about how Israel launched dozens of strikes against Iran early Friday morning local time, striking at the heart of the country's nuclear program, killing several nuclear scientists as well as high-ranking military leaders, according to Israeli officials. Iran responded with an aerial attack involving about 100 drones, Israel said, but all of them were shot down before hitting their target. While Secretary of State Rubio confirmed the U.S. did not play a military role in the attack, according to a US source familiar with the intel on the strike, it provided "exquisite" intel and will help defend Israel if needed, especially against ballistic missiles that are expected to be launched from Iran. In the wake the strikes, potentially pushing the Middle East to the brink of an all-out conflict, President Trump told ABC News he thought the attacks had been "excellent" and suggested there was "more to come." According to the Israeli prime minister's office, Netanyahu and Trump will also speak sometime today.

2. U.S. investigators are joining authorities in India looking into what caused an Air India plane to crash shortly after takeoff, killing 241 people on board and several on the ground. We now know the name of the lone survivor on board. Vishwash Ramesh was seen limping away from the crash scene minutes after the plane went down. Ramesh FaceTimed his father as he was walking away. Speaking to Sky News from his hospital bed, Ramesh, who walked out on foot, said QUOTE: For a little while, I thought I was going to die, but when I opened my eyes I realized I was alive, So I tried to escape. Ramesh describes the plane stalling just seconds after takeoff, saying it felt like the plane was stuck before crashing into a hostel. The other Ramesh brother, Ajay, was also aboard the plane and is still missing.

Israel's Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon commenting on Israel's military action at a press conference in New York. Israel’s military said it used 200 fighter jets, and in retaliation, Iran launched over 100 drones toward Israeli territory. Trump warned Iran earlier today to agree to a nuclear deal “before there is nothing left,” suggesting Israel’s next attacks on the country could be “even more brutal.”

3. The average age of moms giving birth in the U.S. is now nearly 30 years old. That's according to a new CDC report. The average age for moms giving birth went from 28.7 to 29.6. The average age for first-time moms is also up: It's now 27 and a half. Women's health experts say there are many contributing factors behind this shift, including changes in social expectations and values. There's also an improvement in technology when it comes to fertility, which allows some people to wait longer to have kids. Another factor: the cost of raising kids is going up.
