1. Investigators are trying to pinpoint what caused a passenger plane bound for London to crash in a densely populated neighborhood in northwest India. At least 240 people are feared dead. The plane was a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, a plane with a flawless safety record, until now. The plane was 11 years old and loaded with fuel because it had just taken off. It hit a medical facility when it crashed. The captain involved had 82-hundred hours of flying experience. No details on the co-pilot yet.

2. One big parade! Preparations are ongoing for the big military parade taking place in D-C on Saturday as President Trump turns 79-years-old. The White House is making a late request for the Air Force Thunderbirds to perform a fly-over. The Army has estimated more than 6,000 soldiers will participate in the event -- an all-day ordeal that's expected to include a fitness competition, festival and parade complete with tanks and infantry vehicles, helicopter flyovers and parachute jumps. The ARMY is estimating some 200,000 people will be along the parade route. The Army said it expects to spend anywhere from $25 million to $45 million on this year's events, although the final tally is expected to be much higher when other costs are factored in.

3. This year's dirty dozen is out! Let's call it produce to treat carefully before eating. There's also a ‘Clean 15’ list, which you don’t hear as much about.

1. Law enforcement in Washington State believe they are closing in on murder suspect Travis Decker. The Pewaukee native is accused of kidnapping and killing his three young daughters and leaving their bodies in a campground. The Chelan County Sheriff's Office says it received a tip from a hiking party about a lone hiker who was avoiding others and was "ill-prepared for trail and weather conditions." Nicole Moss was driving through the search area, and says, she was taken aback by the law enforcement presence. The feds really thought they had Decker yesterday-- but they didn't get him. Investigators say the Pewaukee native suffocated his three daughters. They were just five, eight, and nine.

2. A federal appeals court rules President Trump's global tariffs CAN remain in place, for now. That means Trump's 10% global baseline tariff, plus additional levies on China and other nations, will remain in place pending further litigation. The stay came down just minutes after U.S. trade negotiators in London said they'd reached a "framework" with China to fully implement a deal struck last month in Geneva. In a post on Truth Social, Trump writes that a “deal” with China has been completed.

3. In the next 18 months, an entertainment giant plans to open, or break ground, on 18 new concert sites across the country. Here in Milwaukee, it already has! Live Nation is a stakeholder in the FPC Live venue that broke ground last year in the Deer District. It's scheduled to open before the end of the year. The new spot, on the site of the old Bradley Center, will fit 45-hundred concert goers. Live Nation is really bullish on this year. They're calling it their biggest year of LIVE music ever. To support their massive new investment program, they've hired 37-thousand U.S. workers. They're also providing more than a million tickets to summer shows across the country for just 30 dollars.

1. Two big developments in the search for a Pewaukee native accused of killing his three young daughters in Washington State. The first: The Federal Government has now taken control of the search for Travis Decker. The second: Investigators have narrowed down the area they're looking. They've zoned in on a community just a few miles from the campground where the bodies of the three young girls were found. Police are all over the area. Meanwhile, autopsy results released on Monday confirm the girls were suffocated. The Pewaukee native was struggling with PTSD and was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder after leaving active service.

2. President Trump says he plans to carry out his plans to dismantle the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, after this year's hurricane season. This comes after the White House rejected North Carolina's request for FEMA to match 100 percent of the state’s funds for cleanup following Hurricane Helene. In the Oval Office, the President says money will be directly allocated to states through either him, or the Department of Homeland Security. The Trump Administration denied extra funding for Helene cleanup. Governor Josh Stein says it's a decision that will cost his state hundreds of millions of dollars.

ABC News Investigative Reporter Peter Charalambous talks about how federal prosecutors in Tennessee on Monday asked a magistrate judge for a pre-trial detention hearing in the human smuggling case against Kilmar Abrego Garcia, after he was brought back to the U.S. to face charges. The prosecutors contend the government is entitled to a pre-trial detention hearing because the charged conspiracy allegedly involved the transportation of "undocumented, unaccompanied children," according to court documents. The filing comes after Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes on Friday told prosecutors at Abrego Garcia's initial court appearance that the crimes alleged in the indictment did not presumptively entitle the government to a detention hearing and asked for supplemental briefing. Abrego Garcia's attorneys are expected to file a response to the government's detention motion on Wednesday. Arguments over the government's motion for pre-trial detention are scheduled to take place Friday during Abrego Garcia's arraignment on charges.

1. A major shake-up at the CDC. Health secretary Robert F. Kennedy removed all members of the CDC's vaccine advisory committee. Some are praising the move... as a push for transparency. But critics are slamming it as reckless and politically motivated. Listen to what the Director of the 'Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy' has to say about it. The committee makes recommendations on the safety and efficacy of vaccines. Members got a notice saying, "This email serves as formal notice of your immediate termination." Kennedy released a statement saying, "Today we are prioritizing the restoration of public trust, above any specific pro or anti-vaccine agenda."

2. A tense situation in Los Angeles, as protests against federal immigration raids go into their 5th day. At the request of the President, more members of the National Guard and a full marine battalion are in Los Angeles to assist local law enforcement. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is doubling down on Newsom's sentiments. The protests are now spreading to cities such as Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, New York, Pittsburgh, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

3. The dream of homeownership is fading for millions of Americans, as home prices continue to rise, with Denver as the most expensive city.
