1. President Trump signs an executive order that will cut prescription drug and pharmaceutical prices "almost immediately, by 30% to 80%." Big Pharma says this plan will slow down research on new drugs. President Trump says we will have to pay less. The U.S. spends $400 billion on prescription drugs every year, often triple what other countries spend and typically more than any other nation.

2. A busy day in a Manhattan court room as the trial for music mogul, Sean "Diddy" Combs gets underway. Jury selection, Jury swear-in, opening statements, and day one of testimony. In her opening statements, Prosecutor Emily Johnson tells the jury they’ll hear all about the alleged charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs during his trial. “Kidnapping, arson, drugs, sex crimes, bribery and obstruction, these are just some of the crimes that the defendant and his inner circle committed again and again.” Combs has pleaded not guilty to all five counts against. Combs is facing 15 years to life in prison pending the outcome of the trial which is expected to last 8-10 weeks.

3. Growing calls today... for a new air traffic control system.

The reason: There were more radar problems at Newark airport over the weekend. You can't just go to Best Buy to purchase a new air traffic control system. So, what's next? Well, the airlines are going to meet with the FAA this week.

1. The U.S. and China reached agree to suspend most tariffs for 90 days. That means the top tariff rate of 145-percent goes down to 30 percent. China will cut its levies on American imports from 125% to 10%. The news has markets soaring today.

2. Non playoffs teams in the NBA will learn their draft position tonight in the annual draft lottery. Cooper Flagg, the freshman from Duke, is widely expected to be the top overall pick. So, he'll learn where he is likely heading, but as for Giannis? All the NBA's General Managers or high-ranking front office personnel are currently located at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago. Giannis has played all 12 of his NBA seasons with the Bucks.

3. Get ready for your sports drink or breakfast cereal to look a little different. Today the Federal Register published a new list of approved food color additives. The Food and Drug Administration has already signed off on the change. The new blue food coloring comes from algae and butterfly pea flower extract and a white one made from calcium phosphate.

Former Milwaukee Archbishop, Timothy Dolan was among the voting members. Today's service was held for the 132 Cardinals that elected Pope Leo and not open to the public. A special Mass will be held at the Vatican on May 18th to mark the beginning of Leo’s pontificate. His first general audience with the public will be held on Wednesday, May 21.

2. A standoff continues in Ozaukee County. The standoff, now in its 12th hour, is taking place on Fox Glen Road in Fredonia where an armed individual is barricaded inside a residence. Law enforcement is attempting to de-escalate the situation, but the subject is refusing to cooperate and is considered "extremely dangerous".

3. The man accused stalking actress Jennifer Aniston and ramming his car into the front gate at her Bel Air home is appearing in court. Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, 48, drove through the front gate of Aniston’s home on Monday after stalking her for nearly two years. According to the criminal complaint, Carwyle stopped in Aniston’s driveway and was detained by her security guard before the police arrived and arrested him.
