1. Happy ‘Deep Thought’ Removal Day to those who observe. All City Towing has Crews positioned at the lakefront to remove the 33-foot Criss-Crass Roamer. Lincoln Memorial Drive is closed in both directions between Lafayette Hill Road and East Water Tower Road until 4:00. There were some early morning spectators. 2. The Milwaukee Public Museum is not only getting a new address, it will have a new name and logo when it makes the move to 6th and McKinley downtown. The museum will be known as the Nature & Culture Museum of Wisconsin. Construction is underway with a projected completion in late 2026 and a projected opening in early 2027.

3. At the Vatican, the conclave to pick a new pope officially begins on Wednesday behind the closed doors of the Sistine Chapel. All 133-voting cardinals have now arrived in Rome. To maintain absolute secrecy, the Vatican plans to confiscate all electronic devices from the 133 participating cardinals and deactivate all mobile phone signals for the duration of the conclave. At the last papal conclave in 2013, jamming devices were reportedly installed in the chapel to prevent cellphones from sending messages to the outside world.

1. Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson announcing support for a new multi-story hotel proposed for Deer District. The Moxy Hotel would be constructed on vacant land near the corner of North Vel Phillips Avenue and West State Street, the former home of the Bradley Center. The hotel will be a nine-story, 162-room Street building positioned next to the Deer District's new FPC Live concert venue, which is currently under construction. Moxy Hotels are part of the Marriott family and described as Stylish and Playful, forget the front desk, at Moxy hotels, guests can check in at the bar. The hotel has a projected opening in spring 2027.
