A viral chart suggests a recession is coming after the Fed cuts interest rates — but don’t panic yet
However, some people were frightened by the idea of lower rates.
A viral chart made the rounds again on social media around the time of the Fed meeting. This chart depicted the U.S. federal funds rate over the years, and overlays when the U.S. economy was in a recession.

The chart portrayed a scary trend. The last few times that the Fed cut interest rates from their peak, a recession followed closely behind. With the Fed gearing up to cut rates again, is the U.S. economy due for another recession?
First of all, it’s important to remember that correlation does not imply causation. Rate cuts are certainly related to recessions, but that doesn’t mean cutting rates will cause one.

Columbia Students Sue Squad Leaders for Allegedly Inciting and Encouraging Anti-Israel, Anti-Jew Protests on Campus
Now a new group of students are suing the radical congressional “Squad” leaders who they accuse of inciting the anti-Israel violence on campus earlier this year.
The students are suing Democrat representatives Sandy Ocasio-Cortez, Jamal Bowman of New York, and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
Ilhan Omar’s daughter was actually one of the organizers at the anti-Jew protests.
FOX News reported:

Five students filed the lawsuit anonymously, naming Ocasio-Cortez and Democratic Reps. Jamal Bowman of New York and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. The lawsuit also names roughly a dozen anti-Israel organizing groups.
“The Gaza Encampment was extreme and outrageous conduct. It was illegal. It violated university rules. Its occupants harassed, followed, physically blocked, intimidated, and bullied Jewish students,” the lawsuit reads.
Two of the five students behind the lawsuit are Jewish.

DHS suspends parole program flights months before election
Three months before the November election in which the presumptive Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala, is likely to run for president, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced it was suspending a parole program she, as the president’s “border czar,” has overseen with DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
DHS announced on Friday that it was suspending flights it had been using for years to bring Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans into the country, who otherwise do not qualify for legal entry under current law.
“Out of an abundance of caution, DHS has temporarily paused the issuance of advanced travel authorizations for new beneficiaries while it undertakes a review of supporter applications. DHS will restart application processing as quickly as possible, with appropriate safeguards,” DHS spokeswoman Erin Heeter said in a statement.
A coalition of 21 attorneys general, led by Texas, also sued to stop it, arguing it’s an “illegal visa system.” Federal judges and members of Congress also argue that it’s illegal.

England and Wales police federation Deputy National Chair Tiffany Lynch said the unrest was “flooding across major cities and towns.”
Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said: “Anyone who gets involved in criminal disorder, violent thuggery on our streets, will have to pay the price.”

Kirby responded, “The President has always maintained that we would prefer Iran not to have a nuclear weapon through diplomacy. But he has also made absolutely clear, our policy has been crystal, we will not allow Iran to achieve a nuclear weapons capability. We prefer to do that through diplomacy. That hasn’t worked. And frankly, that’s not really on the table right now. We haven’t been talking to Iran for quite some time, in terms of diplomacy. So, we’ve got to make sure that we’ve got other capabilities, other options available to the President, including potential military options. And the Department of Defense works on that every day. Obviously, we have been focused a lot on the Middle East. We have added resources from a military perspective to the Middle East and we’re talking about what we need to do to adjust given these recent threats, as well.”

Chinese National Arrested After Repeatedly Trying to Get Into Mar-a-Lago — Claims to Possess Documents Linking Chinese Government to July 13 Assassination Attempt
A Chinese national was arrested after multiple attempts to breach the security of Mar-a-Lago, the private club and residence of former President Donald Trump.
The suspect, Zijie Li, 38, of El Monte, California, claimed to possess documents implicating the Chinese government in a recent assassination attempt on Trump.
WPTV reported that Li first attempted to enter Mar-a-Lago on July 19, around 8 p.m., driving a Toyota Prius. Secret Service agents stopped him at the main gate.
Li alleged he had critical information connecting China to an assassination attempt on the former president and insisted on handing over the documents. However, the Secret Service informed him that he was trespassing and prohibited from leaving any materials.

Seven EU countries including France, Germany and Spain have called on Venezuela to publish the electoral rolls from last week’s presidential election after President Nicolas Maduro was declared the winner despite independent tallies showing the opposition candidate won more votes.
Seven European Union countries, including Italy, France, Germany and Spain have jointly called on the Venezuelan authorities to promptly publish the electoral rolls to ensure full transparency around last weekend’s election, the Italian prime minister’s office said on Saturday.

RED ALERT: Ninth Circuit Appeals Court BLOCKS Arizona’s Proof of Citizenship Requirement to Vote – Case Will Be Sent to U.S. Supreme Court
On August 1, a three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit overturned a prior decision that required proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections. This ruling, which was decided in a narrow 2-1 vote, now allows individuals to register to vote using a state form, without having to provide citizenship documentation for federal positions such as President and Congress.
The law, enacted by Arizona’s Republican-led Legislature in 2022, was designed to prevent non-citizens from voting by mandating proof of citizenship if registering to vote with the state. The initial emergency stay, issued on July 18 by a different Ninth Circuit panel, had supported this requirement.
The Ninth Circuit’s recent decision further dismantles the already fragile safeguards meant to protect our elections. Previously, while federal ballots could be exploited due to a lack of citizenship proof, there was at least some measure of security through state forms. Now, with both federal and state registration forms free from proof of citizenship, it’s even easier for noncitizens to cast ballots in federal elections. This ruling not only weakens Arizona’s attempts to ensure election integrity but also represents a troubling regression in our efforts to maintain genuine voter authenticity.
In other words, they didn’t even need this ruling to circumvent the previous ruling. This is akin to purely just rubbing it in. As Arizona State Senate President Warren Petersen put it, this is ‘judicial warfare’ meant to circumvent the will of the American people. They plan to send the case to the Supreme Court for appeal.

Hillary Clinton-run group helps fund Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion
Just Stop Oil’s stunts are partly funded by a campaign organisation run by Hillary Clinton, US financial disclosures reveal.
A group founded by Mrs Clinton from the ashes of her failed presidential bid has donated $500,000 (£391,500) in the last three years to the protest group’s California-based financiers.
Just Stop Oil’s largest financial backer is a controversial Californian non-profit, the Climate Emergency Fund (CEF), which pays for stunts by environmental groups across the world, including Extinction Rebellion.
A paper trail of transparency disclosures, seen by The Telegraph, shows that one of the CEF’s major supporters is Onward Together, a campaign organisation founded by Mrs Clinton in the aftermath of her 2016 presidential campaign against Donald Trump.

Recession Triggered: Payrolls Miss Huge, Up Just 114K As Soaring Unemployment Rate Activates “Sahm Rule” Recession
BLS reported that in July, the US added just 114K payrolls, a huge miss to expectations of 175K and also a huge drop from the downward revised June print of 206K, now (as always ) revised to just 179K. This was the lowest print since December 2020 (at least prior to even more revisions)…
Of course, these being numbers published by the corrupt Biden, pardon Kamala Department of Goalseeked bullshit, the previous months were revised lower as usual, with May revised down by 2,000, from +218,000 to +216,000, and the change for June was revised down by 27,000, from +206,000 to +179,000. With these revisions, employment in May and June combined is 29,000 lower than previously reported. It gets better because as shown in the next chart shows, 5 of the past 6 months have now been revised lower.

State Supreme Court Rejects Mayor Eric Adams’ Attempt to Stop Buses of Illegals From Arriving in NYC
In January, Mayor Eric Adams filed a lawsuit against 17 charter bus companies that transported illegals flowing into New York City thanks to the Biden administration and Border Czar Kamala Harris.
By dropping thousands of illegals in the city “without a means of support,” the lawsuit accused the bus companies of violating New York’s Social Services Law. Adams was seeking $700 million in compensation for the cost of shelter, food, and health care.

In the decision, New York Supreme Court Justice Mary V. Rosado said, “The mass migration of people within the country, which the commissioner seeks to chill or prevent, is an issue reserved by the Constitution for Congress, lest the United States fall to a regime of Balkanization with each state setting fort[h] a patchwork of inconsistent criteria for crossing state lines.”
The decision also stated, “This is a plain attempt to regulate the transportation of indigent persons from State to State in violation of the Interstate Commerce Clause.”
The mayor’s office said it respects the court’s decision.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott cheered the decision.

The Trump Media & Technology Group on Friday announced the phased rollout of Truth+, it’s new video streaming platform.
“First, we created Truth Social to provide a safe harbor for free speech on the Internet,” TMTG CEO Devin Nunes said in a press release. “Now, we’re establishing a reliable home for great TV content that is neglected by the big corporations or is at risk of cancellation—and we are securing our own tech stack and hardware infrastructure to make our new CDN uncancellable.”

The rollout will require iOS users to update the app, while Android and web users will not need to do so. The update will permit users to view streamed content in conventional channel platform or through a smaller window while users the app’s other features.

In the context of elections, a DDoS attack could end up preventing voters from accessing websites detailing how to vote or register to vote.

In the event of an attack against election infrastructure, “the underlying data and internal systems would remain uncompromised, and anyone eligible to vote would still be able to cast a ballot,” they said.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz then immediatley joined the campaign of her ‘longtime friend’ Clinton as her honorary chair of her 50 state programme to help elect Democrats around the country.
During the trial the DNC asserted that the primary election belongs to the people who control the party, not the voters. DNC lawyers argued that the Democratic Party doesn’t owe anyone a fair process and that it has every right to disregard its own rules or interpret its rules how it wants because it is a private organisation. The procedures for the party nomination are set by the state party, which has leeway to change its rules at any time. In the weeks before the convention, the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee could vote to implement new rules addressing what happens if a leading nominee withdraws before the convention.
The attached screenshot is the argument from DNC Attorney in the case where they saw they can pick the candidate in smoke filled back rooms if they so choose.
So effectively this means the primaries are nothing but a charade. It also means the DNC write their own rules and can change the presumptive nominee even after the convention. If a Democratic nominee withdraws after the convention, the party rules are clearer. If the nominee resigns, dies or is otherwise unable to run for president, the DNC — conferring with Democratic leadership in Congress and the Democratic Governors Association — fills the vacancy.
The DNC adopted the “good conscience” language in 1982 after multiple rounds of reforms to its presidential nomination process. According to the DNC rules, the delegates are bound by their “good conscience” to reflect the sentiments of those who elected them. So, in theory, if the delegates decided to have a change of heart after the convention, they could technically choose a different nominee. As you will see by the screenshot below, Trump is very aware that this will happen. “Given the continued political chaos surrounding Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrat Party, general election debate details cannot be finalized until Democrats formally decide on their nominee,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said. “It would be inappropriate to schedule things with Harris because Democrats very well could still change their minds.” I am very sure that at some stage before the November election, Kamala Harris (the presumptive nominee) will be replaced and the real Dem Nom will parachute in at the last minute.

Chuck Schumer rolls out ‘No Kings Act’ to eliminate presidential immunity
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on Thursday announced a bill that would ensure that presidents do not have criminal immunity.
The legislation, dubbed the “No Kings Act,” would ensure that neither sitting nor former presidents and vice presidents are entitled to immunity from prosecution for alleged crimes. The bill has more than two dozen Democratic signers.
If it is passed, the legislation would make it clear that Congress has the power to determine “to whom federal criminal laws may be applied,” not the Supreme Court, according to the bill’s outline provided by Schumer’s office.

Biden Administration Contacting 25 Million Borrowers in Student Loan Forgiveness Update
A student loan forgiveness update will be rolled out in the next week by the Biden administration, coming less than 100 days before the presidential election.
Emails will be sent to millions notifying them they could qualify for debt relief under the enhanced program, along with an opportunity to opt out if they want.
An Education Department announcement made clear what is on offer, with U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona declaring:

Kamala’s Economy? Job Growth Turns Sluggish and Manufacturing Jobs Shrink, ADP Reports
Kamala Harris’s attempts to sell Americans on the idea that the U.S. economy is doing well may have become a bit harder.
U.S. businesses added a mere 122,000 jobs in July, according to payroll giant ADP, signaling a cooling labor market and fewer hires. This modest increase is the smallest in six months and falls short of the 150,000 jobs predicted by economists.
While Harris has recently said manufacturing in the U.S. is booming, the ADP report tells a different story. Manufacturing jobs fell in July, ADP said.
Construction added 39,000 and trade, transportation, and utilities added 61,000, leading the gaining sectors. Leisure and hospitality, a major source of job growth last year, added a modest 24,000. Health and education added 22,000.
Professional and business services employment declined by 47,000, a possible signal of a souring economy. Information technology shed 18,000, which is a lot of job losses for a smaller segment of the economy.
The slowing job market has also taken a toll on wage growth. The year-over-year pay increase for workers who stayed in the same job dipped to a three-year low of 4.8 percent in July.
“With wage growth slowing down, the labor market is aligning with the Federal Reserve’s efforts to curb inflation,” said ADP’s chief economist, Nela Richardson. “If inflation goes back up, it won’t be because of labor.”

On Oct. 2, 2020, the European Central Bank (ECB) released a report laying the groundwork for its central bank digital currency (CBDC), the digital euro.
The digital euro has been in its investigation phase since October 2021, during which ECB officials and bankers hypothesized about its possible design and purpose.
As of November 2023, the digital euro has entered the preparation phase, with possible legislative adoption expected by the last financial quarter of 2024.

U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve to Be Funded Partly by Revaluing Fed’s Gold, Draft Bill Shows
The plan proposes establishing a “Bitcoin Purchase Program” of up to 200,000 BTC a year over a five-year period.
U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis’s plan for a new Strategic Bitcoin Reserve would finance purchases of the cryptocurrency partly by revaluing gold certificates held by the Federal Reserve System, according to a draft of the legislation obtained by CoinDesk.
According to the draft bill, under the working short title of “Bitcoin Act of 2024,” the Treasury secretary would “establish a decentralized network of secure Bitcoin storage facilities distributed across the U.S.,” selecting the locations for the vaults “based on a comprehensive risk assessment, prioritizing geographic diversity, security and accessibility.”
The Treasury secretary would establish a “Bitcoin Purchase Program” of up to 200,000 BTC a year over a five-year period, for a total of 1 million, according to the draft. The bitcoin would be held for at least 20 years and could only be disposed of for the purpose of paying off federal debt. After that, no more than 10% of the assets could be sold during any two-year period.
The bitcoin purchases would be financed through a few methods, describe in the draft bill as “offsetting the cost of the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.”
The plan calls for the setting aside of $6 billion from any net earnings remitted by Federal Reserve to the Treasury from fiscal years 2025 through 2029, and it would reduce the discretionary surplus funds of Federal Reserve banks to $2.4 billion from $6.825 billion, the level that’s currently stipulated in the Federal Reserve Act.
Revaluing the Fed’s gold
There’s also the revaluation of Federal Reserve banks’ gold certificates to reflect their fair market value.
Under the plan, within six months of enactment of the legislation, Federal Reserve banks would tender all of their oustanding gold certificates to the Treasury secretary. Within 90 days after that, the Treasury secretary would issue “new gold certificates to the Federal Reserve banks that reflect the fair market value price of the gold.”
The Federal Reserve banks would then “remit the difference in cash value between the old and new certificates” to the Treasury secretary.

The latest bid by President Biden’s son to toss the felony charges against him is his “fourth attempt at halting the prosecution of this case based on invented deficiencies in the appointment and funding of Special Counsel Weiss,” Weiss’ office argued in a Monday filing in California federal court.
Earlier this month, Hunter’s legal team tried yet again to get the case accusing him of failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes to the IRS dismissed — calling Weiss’ appointment and the funding to prosecute the Biden scion unconstitutional.
“However, changing one word does not resolve the issues, as these statements continue to be misleading by suggesting that United States Attorney Weiss failed to take action against the defendant until after he became special counsel,” the filing claims. “That is patently incorrect.” In fact, Weiss first brought charges against Hunter, 54, when he was the Delaware US attorney in a case that the first son had planned to plead guilty to — until the prosecution agreement notoriously blew up in court.

Crooks supported Biden, lockdowns, and Biden’s border policies. FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate just told Congress that “an account believed to be associated with the shooter” had posted 700 comments in 2019 and 2020 with “anti-Semitic and anti-immigration” views.

Both Rowe and Cheatle had specific oversight roles for Trump’s protective detail on Jan 6—Rowe as the Deputy Assistant Director over Trump’s detail, and Cheatle as the direct supervisor over the lead agent, Robert Engel. This is according to the transcript of former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato’s interview with the January 6 committee. Additionally, Rowe sought information about the Proud Boys prior to Jan 6.
It was revealed during Ornato’s interview that Rowe had sent an email to Robert Engel on December 12, 2020, questioning why the Secret Service hadn’t been alerted about the Proud Boys leader’s participation in a White House tour. Then there was the Jan 6 security lapse where USSS allowed then Vice President-elect Kamala Harris to come dangerously close to a so-called pipe bomb at the DNC.
The USSS Office of Protective Operations—led by both Cheatle and Rowe at the time, with Cheatle as Assistant Director and Rowe as Deputy Assistant Director—was responsible for overseeing these protective operations. And with USSS text communications from Jan 5-6 conveniently deleted, we have yet to receive any explanation from Rowe, Cheatle, or any other law enforcement official involved in protective operations for Harris that day. Microsoft now admits that its services were taken out by a Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack which was ‘amplified’ by an error in the company’s cyber defences.
Experts say the true culprits may never be identified but that they were likely encouraged to strike by Microsoft’s recent service troubles.

Having been exposed by the Trump-era Justice Department for their attacks on former President Donald Trump, two key figures in the Russiagate smear of Trump are receiving massive payouts from the Biden-era Justice Department.
Former FBI agent Peter Strzok and former FBI attorney Lisa Page, whose communications about Trump on their government phones were revealed as part of the investigation into the now-discredited allegations that the 2016 Trump campaign was linked to Russia, will split a $2 million payday.
Strzok will get $1.2 million and Page will receive $800,000, according to Politico.

“The evidence was overwhelming that the release of text messages to the press in December 2017 was for partisan political purposes and was against the law,” said Amy Jeffress, who represented Page.

The FBI on Monday morning told reporters that would-be Trump assassin Thomas Crooks accessed the roof of a building near former President Trump’s July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, by climbing up HVAC equipment and piping.
Crooks then traversed multiple rooftops before he found his shooting position on top of a building owned by American Glass Research (AGR), located near the Butler Farm Show fairgrounds about 150 yards from where the former president spoke at his rally.

FedEx To Cut Daytime Domestic Flight Activity By 60%
FedEx plans to significantly slash daily flights and the number of U.S. cities served by air during the daytime when its air cargo contract with the U.S. Postal Service expires on Sept. 29, resulting in significant pay cuts for pilots, senior managers informed crews this week.
The parcel logistics giant will reduce daytime domestic flying time by 60% and the number of city destinations by 55%, which will add about 500 pilots to the existing surplus, said Justin Brownlee, senior vice president for flight operations and network planning, in a letter to airline workers obtained by FreightWaves. No pilots will be hired for the foreseeable future, he added.

U.S Economy Accelerates By More Than Expected, Yet Inflation Remains Stubborn
The U.S. economy grew at an annual pace of 2.8 percent in the second quarter, much faster than the two percent forecast by Wall Street analysts.
The stronger-than-expected growth indicates that the economy has continued to expand despite high interest rates, calling into question the need for a rate cut from the Federal Reserve in the near term.
In the first quarter of the year, growth slowed to 1.4 percent after rapidly growing in the second half of 2023.
Consumer spending—the main engine of economic growth—rose 2.3 percent, beating forecasts, according to data released by the Department of Commerce on Thursday. Spending on durable goods led the increase, indicating consumers remain willing to purchase big ticket items such as cars and appliances despite high interest rates. Spending on services accelerated as well.

The Federal Reserve appears to be on track to cut its benchmark interest rate in September, just two months ahead of the general election in November.
According to conventional wisdom, a rate cut could boost the economy and encourage voters to reward the incumbent political party.

The trajectory of the economy has set the Fed on a collision course with the general election, and possibly with former president Donald Trump, the Republican candidate in the 2024 race. Investors and economists expect the Fed to cut its benchmark interest rate by September.

NORAD Jets Make Rare Intercept Of Russian & Chinese Bombers Near Alaska
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has announced that it intercepted two Russian and two Chinese bombers in Alaska’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on Wednesday.
Specifically they were Russian TU-95 Bear and Chinese H-6 bombers, and this marks the first time ever that H-6 bombers entered the Alaska ADIZ, according to military officials.
NORAD immediately scrambled US and Canadian fighter jets to intercept and monitor the inbound foreign aircraft, a statement from NORAD said.
These involved US F-16 and F-35 fighter jets, alongside Canadian CF-18 fighter jets, according to details given to CNN. The statement added that in the end the foreign aircraft were not seen as a threat.
The Russian and Chinese sides later confirmed their aerial forces had conducted “joint strategic aerial patrol in the relevant airspace of the Bering Sea” as part of an existing annual cooperation plan between the two militaries.

During her tenure as Attorney General of California, Kamala Harris kept hundreds of black men in prison past their release date so she could use these men for $2 a day for cheap California state labor.
Harris also promoted the Minnesota Bail Fund after the George Floyd riots in 2020, which is responsible for bailing out murderers and rapists.
At least two of the murderers that Kamala Harris helped bail out of prison went on to murder again.

Obama Won’t Endorse Kamala Harris Because He Thinks She Will Lose to Trump
Many people have been left wondering why President Barack Obama has refused to endorse Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party nominee.
According to Biden family sources who spoke with The New York Post, Obama is “upset” that Biden endorsed Harris as the presumptive nominee because he believes she will lose to Donald Trump.
“Obama’s very upset because he knows she can’t win,” the source was quoted as saying. “Obama knows she’s just incompetent — the border czar who never visited the border, saying that all migrants should have health insurance. She cannot navigate the landmines that are ahead of her.”

Vice President Kamala Harris told reporters on Thursday that she’s “ready to debate Donald Trump.”
She accused him of “backpedaling” away from a previous agreement for a debate hosted by ABC News on Sept. 10.
“I think the voters deserve to see the split screen that exists in this race on the debate stage,” she said after landing at Joint Base Andrews following a trip to Indiana and Texas.
The Sept. 10 debate was one of two debates that President Joe Biden and Trump had agreed on. The first one was hosted by CNN on June 27, but Biden has since dropped out of the race and endorsed Harris as his successor.
Trump has said he would prefer to shift the debate to Fox News, but he would be willing to face off with Harris more than once.

WOW! Wray Says There Were At Least Two Instances Where FBI Officials Expressed Disappointment That Trump Survived Assassination Attempt (VIDEO)

FBI Director Christopher Wray appeared before the House Judiciary Committee on the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump.
On July 13 President Trump was grazed in the ear after a 20-year-old gunman named Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed on a roof and took several shots at Trump and rallygoers in Butler. Christopher Wray absurdly claimed it appears Crooks acted alone.
So we’re expected to believe Crooks did the following all by himself without an insider’s help:
Flew a drone over the Pennsylvania fairgrounds and got aerial footage of the rally layout on the day of the event – including 2 hours before Trump took the stage.
Got a range finder through security.
Evaded law enforcement officers from several different state, local and federal agencies.
Somehow ‘climbed’ up on a roof with his rifle 450 away from Trump, bear crawled to the perfect vantage point as bystanders alerted police and was still able to take 8 shots at Trump.
Parked a vehicle full of explosives near the Trump rally – even though there is no online search history of Crooks researching how to make at-home explosives.
Crooks was able to walk around the premises after Snipers took a photo of him looking suspicious.
A sniper located in the second story window was only 40 feet away from Crooks and didn’t neutralize him.
Trump was still able to take the stage after Crooks was pegged as suspicious by Secret Service.
GOP Congressman Chip Roy (TX) asked Wray if any FBI agents expressed disappointment that Trump survived the assassination attempt.
“In 2015 and 2016 top FBI officials infamously texted about “their insurance policy to make sure Trump was never elected or inaugurated as president,” Chip Roy said referring to Lisa Page and Peter Strzok.
“Have any FBI agents texted, emailed or expressed disappointment that Trump survived the assassination attempt or otherwise editorialized about the assassination attempt?” Chip Roy asked Wray.
Wray said at least one FBI official has expressed disappointment that Trump wasn’t killed by the gunman.
“That individual has been referred to our inspection division,” Wray said.
Why wasn’t this person fired?

Hackers Bypass Secure Email Gateway With Sophisticated Malware Exploits
Hackers often attack Secure Email Gateways (SEGs) to bypass security measures and gain access to private communications.
Once they have attacked SEGs, they can snoop on emails, change them or even start a phishing scheme that will spread malware and steal sensitive information from the organizations involved.
Cybersecurity researchers at Cofense recently discovered that hackers have been actively attacking and bypassing the SEGs with sophisticated malware exploits.
Technical Analysis
Secure Email Gateways (SEGs) have a vulnerability that threat actors are actively exploiting by sending them corrupted .zip archives.
These archives contain HTML files with .Mpeg extensions that enable obfuscation of harmful content from SEG scans.

A CYBER attack earlier this month on Sibanye-Stillwater’s systems hit production at the group’s Stillwater mine in the US resulting in “short term operational delays”.
The miner previously said it didn’t know who was behind the attack and that no ransomware had been detected. Cyber attacks on corporates are increasingly common, however.

The company said some of its information had already been released.
The cybersecurity company CrowdStrike said Wednesday evening that some of the company’s private information on the hackers it tracks had been posted online, and that the hacker behind the leak has threatened to release information that’s even more sensitive.
Crowdstrike is one of the top cybersecurity companies in the U.S., hunting and monitoring hacker groups in an effort to keep clients’ computer systems safe.
the hacker also claimed to have stolen a list of “Indicators of Compromise,” which include the digital evidence that cybersecurity experts comb through to trace a hacker group’s handiwork. Hackers routinely threaten to leak private files and post samples they claim are evidence, often either exaggerating or lying about what they’ve found. It is unusual, however, for a major cybersecurity company to publicly acknowledge such a claim without refuting it.
