NESN's Lauren Willand breaks down all the rumors that came from Wednesday from Bogaerts reportedly cutting ties with Boston to his agent, Scott Boras, debunking those to The Boston Globe, noting the All-Star shortstop has not shut the door on any team. Could this just be a negotiation tactic?

Later Lauren rants about why Sam Kennedy's comments about not saying whether the Red Sox would be able to match any external offers to Bogaerts are discouraging and not what fans want to hear.

Aside from Bogaerts talk, Lauren also looks at a report from MLB Network that stated Jose Abreu's number one choice was Boston, but instead chose the Houston Astros.
