觀察到，可以說observe，也可以說notice注意到、find發現、record記錄，甚至也可以說we logged irregular voltage，把log當作動詞記錄的意思使用。Regular是正常平常的意思，irregular就是反常的、異常的。也可以用abnormal或unusual替代，這些字都是指與平常正常狀態相反的意思。Supply是供應的意思，電源供應就是power supply。

要有禮貌地請問別人，特別例如在寫email的時候，可以用Could you please let me know來開頭，你可不可以讓我知道一下呢？Model是指具體的產品型號，通常用來描述特定的產品或機器的名稱或編號。而Model type 則更強調型號的類型或分類，可能指的是一整個系列產品，所以你可以根據實際情境選擇要用哪個。出貨的動詞是ship，就跟「船」是同一個字，但要注意商品是「被」寄出的，所以要用被動式 be shipped。Ship 也可以用 deliver替代。

目前我們手邊沒有系統。請協助提供相關的系統配備。

「手邊沒有」其實是指無法取得、使用的意思，因此可以說don’t  have access to, 如果你don’t  have access to something, that thing is not available to you. 所以你也可以說 I don't have the system available to me. Necessary原來是必要的意思，在這邊想請對方提供相關系統配備，其實是請對方提供必要的協助的意思，所以英文可以用necessary，不必照字翻譯。而這句話中的「配備」究竟是指設備還是機器或是設備的規格，就要看情境套入不同的字。如果是規格的話，可以用specification，常說的spec就是specification的簡稱。

因為最近的案子問題很多，這麼問題無法立刻解決。我們需要多幾天審視。
With many ongoing issues in recent projects, this problem can't be solved immediately. We need a few more days to look into it.

這句話中的ongoing是正在發生的意思，也可以替換成 current，immediately是立即、馬上，也可用soon就好了。look into it是審視、檢查的意思，可以用examine, 或 analyze來替換。

精簡優化：streamline
功能(統稱)：functionality
減少：reduce…by

我們精簡優化了設計和功能，減少產品重量達百分之15。
We streamlined the design and functionality, reducing its overall weight by 15%.

Streamline的意思是透過精簡、整併，把流程或系統優化，所以如果是透過這種方式，達到減輕重量、節省時間的效果，就可以說是streamline。

Functionality是指產品的整體功能，比如一支手機有拍照、續航、螢幕更新頻率等很多種功能，可以統稱為functionality。而”function”則指特定的單一功能，例如鏡頭變焦的功能叫做zoom function。所以指稱產品整體功能性的話，可以用functionality，而單指特定功能的話，可以說function。

而要表達減少多少的時候，可以用 reduce…by多少多少來說明。reduce by 15%就是減少百分之15。

Happy Father's day! Actually, only Taiwan celebrates Father's day on August 8th. 只有台灣在8月8號慶祝父親節。This is according to WiKipedia. 我是查維基百科的。Most countries celebrate this day on the 3rd Sunday of June. 大部分的國家是在6月第三個星期天慶祝父親節。So it’s a unique culture in Taiwan. 這也算是台灣獨特的習慣。

為了檢修硬體問題，我們必須複製錯誤情形以分析根本原因。
To troubleshoot the hardware issue, we need to reproduce the error condition to analyze its root cause.

複製問題除了說reproduce，也可以說：
to repeat the problem,
to redo the issue
to make the problem happen again
to cause the error to happen again
