In this episode, I interviewed Amy Weintraub, the founder of the LifeForce Yoga Healing Institute and a pioneer in the field of yoga and mental health. We talked about her first book Yoga for Depression, which was published over 15 years ago yet feels more relevant today than ever. We also discussed the amount of validating research that has been conducted in the field in the 15+ years since. She shared some of the techniques and practices that are part of the LifeForce Yoga Healing method and spoke to us about how these practices can help us ride the waves of politics and social media today. Finally, we talked about her forthcoming book, a novel entitled Temple Dancer.
