Have you ever felt like a completely different person the week before you get your period?
AND - you’re not crazy for the way that you are feeling.
Our luteal phase, or the 10-14 days before we get our period, is a time of great change in our bodies, energy levels, hormones, appetite, and more. It’s very common for women to feel like a totally different person during this time of the month. Although this isn’t necessary, it has become standard for our lives.
In this episode, we discuss what happens to our hormones, energy levels, communication styles, socialization patterns, and metabolism during this phase of our menstrual cycle. We also dive into how we can reduce PMS symptoms as much as possible.
Like we talk about in the episode - just because symptoms are normally experienced today doesn’t mean they are necessary! We’re not supposed to suffer for days on end just because we have a menstrual cycle.
It’s up to us to learn about our bodies and how we can best support them. This episode is designed to help you not only manage your luteal phase but get back to thriving all month long instead of just surviving.
If you found this episode valuable, please share it with a friend. Your continued support helps our show grow and for that, we cannot thank you enough!
