What happens when you stop chasing love and start choosing yourself?
In this powerful kickoff to the Radical Relationship Recovery: Rebuilding from the Inside Out series, I sit down with Katherine Kimball—my former counselor and the woman who held space for one of the most transformative seasons of my life.
For three months, I brought her my grief, loneliness, codependency, and truth. What I got in return was something no one had ever given me: space to feel it all and still stay standing.
In this raw conversation, we talk about:
If you've ever felt like you're too much, too emotional, too intense—or you've been told that your standards are too high—this episode is for you.
This is what real healing looks like: messy, bold, and full of truth.
And it's only just beginning.

In this powerful conversation, I sit down with sisters Amy and Nancy Harrington — former Hollywood insiders turned founders of The Passionistas Project — to talk about awakening, empowerment, and the transformative power of women’s stories.
Amy and Nancy share how they walked away from high-profile careers in the entertainment industry to build a global sisterhood that amplifies voices too often left unheard. Together, we dive into their upcoming Passionistas Project Summit — happening August 26–28, 2025 — and the release of the Awakening Your Power anthology, a collection of raw, inspiring stories from women who have faced adversity, reclaimed their voices, and stepped into their full power.
We also have candid discussions about the struggles successful women rarely talk about — the pressure to “have it all together” while silently dealing with burnout, relationship pain, and isolation. You’ll hear why letting down the façade and sharing the truth not only frees you, but creates real connection.
I’m honored to be both a panelist at the summit and a contributing author to the book, sharing my own story alongside other remarkable women. We talk about what makes this project different, why vulnerability is such a game-changer for connection, and how this summit is more than just another motivational event — it’s a deep, inclusive, and transformative experience.
You’ll hear about the unique summit format, the behind-the-scenes process of crafting the anthology, and how you can get involved — whether you want to attend, read the book, or even tell your own story.
Tune in if you’ve ever been told you’re “too much,” if you’ve struggled in silence while projecting success, or if you’re ready to be part of a community that sees all of you — and celebrates it.

One year ago, I started this podcast to talk about trauma, narcissistic abuse, and the long road to recovery. But what I didn’t know was how much I would change along the way.
This episode marks a turning point — not just in the show’s title, but in my life, my relationships, and my truth. I’ve walked away from romantic partners, friends, and pieces of my past that no longer align. I’ve come home to Colorado, laid my soul dog to rest, and faced the grief of being too much for people who couldn’t hold my fire.
But I’m not shrinking anymore. And neither should you.
In this episode, I’m sharing why the podcast is evolving into You Have the Power: The Road to Truth, Freedom, and Real Connection — and why being too much was never the problem.
We’re still talking about trauma and healing, but we’re expanding into all the relationships that shape us — romantic, professional, familial, and most importantly, the one we have with ourselves.
If you’ve ever felt like your intensity, success, or emotional depth made people uncomfortable, this episode is for you.

In Part 3 of my Reclaiming Safety & Power After Sexual Abuse series, I open up about one of the hardest truths: forgiveness is not always owed to our abusers.
In this raw, unfiltered episode, I share why I choose not to forgive those who violated me — and why real healing means forgiving myself instead. I talk about the deep betrayal that comes when the people we trust the most become the ones who hurt us, and the painful layers of shame, anger, and self-blame that can linger for years.
We’ll explore how unresolved trauma shapes our patterns — how what’s “familiar” can keep us stuck in cycles of unhealthy love — and how to reclaim our bodies, our boundaries, and our power.
If you’re ready to finally stop carrying the shame that was never yours, stand up for your worth, and start trusting your own voice again, this episode is for you. You’re not alone — and you do have the power to rewrite your story.

What happens when the people who were supposed to protect you... didn’t? When silence and denial caused as much damage as the abuse itself?
In this deeply moving episode, Darla sits down with The Emotional Chain Breaker herself, Ada Lloyd, for an unflinching conversation about the long-term effects of sexual abuse—and what it really takes to heal. Ada shares her own story of surviving childhood sexual abuse, the devastating moment her mother refused to believe her, and the journey that led her to create a life of emotional freedom.
Together, they discuss:
This episode is raw, empowering, and deeply validating. If you’ve ever felt alone in your story or wondered why healing feels so hard, this conversation will help you see that not only is healing possible—it’s your birthright.
Trigger warning: This episode contains discussions of sexual abuse and trauma. Please take care while listening.

This is the episode I was never supposed to record.
In Part 1 of Reclaiming Safety & Power After Sexual Abuse, Darla Ridilla shares her raw, unfiltered story—from childhood abuse to adult violation, from being silenced by the people who should’ve protected her to reclaiming her voice on her own terms.
This episode isn’t just a personal account—it’s a wake-up call for every high-achieving woman who was told to keep quiet, stay small, or protect their abuser’s reputation at the cost of their own healing.
You’ll hear what it really means to live with the lifelong echoes of sexual abuse—and how Darla turned pain into power by refusing to keep secrets that weren’t hers to hold.
This is not about playing the victim. It’s about breaking the cycle. It’s about remembering your worth. And it’s about reclaiming what was always yours: your body, your voice, your power.
If you’ve ever been silenced, gaslit, or dismissed, this episode will meet you where you are—and remind you that you’re not broken. Your truth matters. And you’re not alone.

You’ve pushed through. You’ve achieved. You’ve held it together for everyone else. But underneath the surface, your body has been keeping score—and it’s tired. In today’s episode of You Have the Power, Darla sits down with yoga therapist and mindfulness coach Rachel Posner to explore a healing path most high-functioning women overlook: trauma-informed yoga.
This conversation isn’t about yoga poses or flexibility—it’s about learning how to listen to your body when your mind is screaming at you to stay strong. Rachel breaks down how trauma-informed yoga supports nervous system regulation, builds emotional resilience, and helps women who feel “too much” or “not enough” reconnect with their power through agency, choice, and sensation.
If traditional therapy hasn’t worked, if you're constantly anxious, or if you feel like your body is betraying you—this episode will show you what your body’s actually trying to say. And how to finally listen.

What if the life you were taught to want isn't the life you actually want?
For most of our lives, women are handed a script: Find the right man. Build a life together. Get married.…
But what happens when you stop looking?
Hosted by Darla Ridilla, You Have the Power is an unapologetic exploration of permanent singlehood, women's voices, freedom, connection, and what becomes possible when a woman stops building her life around whether a man shows up.
After three marriages, an abusive relationship, years of healing, and trying to date differently, Darla finally asked the question that blew the whole damn thing open:
Why am I dating at all?
Her answer was to choose permanent singlehood - on purpose.
This podcast explores what comes after that choice: the freedom, the grief, the conditioning, the friendships, the solitude, the creativity, the adventure, and the real connection that becomes possible when partnership is no longer the destination.
This isn't about convincing women to stop dating or get divorced.
It's about questioning the hell out of the rules we were handed.
Who told you marriage was the goal?
Who told you being single meant something was missing?
Who told you a woman needed romantic partnership to have intimacy, connection, security, or a full life?
And most importantly:
What do YOU actually want?
Because being single isn't a waiting room.
Your life is happening now.
And it already belongs to you.
