Historically, BYU and UCF are two of the most successful programs outside the traditional Power Five conferences, each carving out significant achievements while building strong football legacies. While BYU’s historical success is more established and includes a national title, UCF’s recent surge has made it a comparable program in terms of modern competitiveness. Both programs have now joined the Big 12, setting up exciting future matchups between two teams with strong football traditions.
