About Melvin Daniel:
Melvin Lee Daniel, 78, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on August 23, 2023. Born in Pearcy, Arkansas, on April 12, 1945, to Quentin E. Daniel and Ina Mae Waite Daniel. Preceded in death by his brothers, Quentin Daniel, Jr., James Daniel, and infant son Kyle Patrick Daniel. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Lawler Daniel, and children Christopher Lee Daniel (Jadie) and Melissa Anthony (Andy), along with grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Melvin had a rich career in education, teaching Agriculture for 35 years. He was a dedicated member of Center Fork Missionary Baptist Church. He had a profound impact on the FFA, leading teams to state and national levels and mentoring students.
His love of agriculture earned him several awards, including the Honorary American FFA Degree. Melvin Daniel will be remembered as a loving husband, father, teacher, mentor, and a significant figure in the world of agriculture.
