On the show this week, David takes a look at a common investment method - Target Date Funds. Many people use them (often through their employer), but can there be any drawbacks to them?

The Great Wealth Transfer is on - but who is inheriting the money? American women are set to receive $50T from their spouses and loved ones - so make sure you are prepared when the time comes.

Plus, the "Big, Beautiful Bill" - is beauty in the eye of the beholder? David will share some details of the plan, including higher standard deductions, increased child tax credit and more.

David is back in the studio this week with a new show... and starting the show off with a market update from Rod Holloway with CFCI. David and Rod will discuss the jobs market, tariffs, why the Federal Reserve is hesitant to lower interest rates and what may be coming over the summer.

This week we have a special encore replay of our April interview with Jolene Dixon from the Bloomington Social Security Administration office.

Jolene will have updates on the revised identification process and the Fairness Act that started in January, as well as insights on the benefits available for divorcees and widows. She will also go over the process of enrolling in Social Security - a frequent topic of discussion as people nearing retirement consider their options and determine what may be best for their individual situations. 

Doug Hughes and Jim Inman are in the studio this week with a very focused topic: Women and Investing

Women typically live, on average, 5-6 years longer than men. Many women have career interruptions due to raising children or caring or aging parents, reducing retirement contributions.

However, there are positive trends we are seeing today, and more woman are using financial professionals for their long-term plans. Doug and Jim will have some statistics, some news stories and some ways single and married women can maximize their financial futures.

History tends to repeat itself... We can learn a lot from history... History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes... 

Those are a few of the lines David will be considering this week as he looks at past stock market performance when there have been declines of 25% (did you know there have been 15 occurrences of the S&P 500 dropping by 25% since 1957?). What happened in the following years after those drops? David will share some history.

Spring is in the air - and for many people it's a chance to open the windows, shake out the rugs and do some extensive housekeeping.
