I have a feeling it would probably land as truth for you if I said to you, Sweetie, you're doing too much.
Almost every client I've worked with lately has been struggling with this—the desire to slow down paired with an almost panicky inability to actually do it. I've felt it myself over the past few months, as I've been forced into a much slower pace and lessened capacity due to some unexpected health issues.
In this week's solo episode of Hey, Wait, I share:
— How your nervous system makes slowing down feel harder than it should — The social and relational conditioning that keeps you constantly striving instead of resting — How to recognize the part of you shaped by both your wiring and your conditioning — Three steps to help you move through the panic that can arise when you try to do less—so you can finally take care of yourself
This is my last episode for the 2025 season, and I want to thank you so much for being here! If there was a single episode that really touched you, or if you loved every one of them and you listened every Thursday when they came out, or you found yourself telling your friends about it or doing something differently because of something you heard on this podcast–
I have a very simple way that you could be in reciprocity with me for that. It's a website called buymeacoffee.com and it's a place where you can symbolically buy me a coffee as a thank you if you feel called. Go here: https://buymeacoffee.com/jaymoonfields If you've been wanting a simple way to honor what you receive here, this is one that is very deeply appreciated.
