In this episode, I talk about school trips in China and the U.S. American school trips focus more on experience and freedom, while Chinese study trips emphasize learning and tasks. Based on a recent fall trip with my students, I highlight two key differences: the purpose and content of the activities, and the level of student freedom during the trip.
